Matchmaking is the only real fix for the M+ problem

Why. There is still like 20 ilvl to gain then, and then being able to get to +10. That is basically what i managed on my paladin last season too :slight_smile:

But doesn’t it feel boring with that gear at that level? I mean yeah, you asked me if people carry me on my undergeared characters. But on the lower keys I can’t even practice my rotation since everything dies so fast (arguably everything dies too fast in a +6 as well but still).

Boring? It is challenging content for me :slight_smile: I am having fun.
And it isn’t dying fast at all.

What ilvl did you say your evoker was ?

Ok what if I come on this warlock which is 655? I’m also rusty AF on it.

I am not good enough for +6. I mean there is a skill level difference between players. Some are doing +19-20 right now. Others are trying to get +10-12’s done.
I am totally fine doing what i am doing. I will slowly get higher.

Man you were good enough to be 3k last season. Don’t give me that “I’m not good” crap XD.

Yes on my main healer. I am pretty reasonable/good on healing :smiley:

I am currently 3k too on my mistweaver. I am alting on this char since this is my first char ever and i always play it. It was my last seasons main.

I did reasonable on my frost DK though in DF s3. But this evoker what i am trying is insanely hard (for me) :sweat_smile:

I only know how to play Aug on that class. Dev felt clunky to me.

But affixes are in the 1-10 bracket.

But it used to be +20. Nothing changed. All they did is make 1 to 10 matchmaking.

The result is that everyone that was once doing keys 1-10 (old level) are now doing keys 11 to 20 (old level). And complain as a result. Because in DF they had maybe… 12 key levels x 2 (fort + tyr) of progression. Now they only have 2. So the “sensation of progress” is not there anymore.

So in essence. What you suggest is to drop the difficulty at which you get Myth track gear from the vault from a +10 to M0. If you don’t drop the difficulty, then its the identical thing they did with the key-level squish.

But either way. All this difficulty progression discussion is pointless IMO. Because until the tank/healer shortage is resolved none of it will produce acceptable results.

The only thing that would change is that you would still wait in quew for (best case scenario) the same amount of time you wait now. Except that you can watch Eurovision while you wait instead of having to lick on a list every 4 minutes or so.

I only watched Eurovision ONCE. When Lordie was playing. It has never been as epic as that day.

The only reason I get away with being an absolute noob at it is because I play with gigachads like you that can carry me and do all the mechanics for me (like kicks and stuff).

Evoker is the only class/race that I refused to make a toon on.

I have always done that in prior expansions. For the story. You make a DK, see the story, delete the DK ot turn it into a bank or something.

But Evoker? Cant. I find it the ugliest, most clunky class/race/specs ever. Plus I have a huge bias against Aug. Which I think is a degenerate spec that should be deleted. I disliked the experience of having to play absolutely with one, or else I go OOM or 1-shot…

Big true. The worst part is that you cannot even transmog over that eyesore.

Next time we do keys I’m coming on my Aug XD.

I cared when I had to sit there and find a good tank. And then find an Aug but roll the dice hoping that he is not a monkey smashing keys…

And the queue system design exists only in my brain for now. So forgive me but I’m moving a bit around between what I’m proposing and what currently exists and has existed, and I get it mixed up every once in a while. It’s not on purpose, and some of it is due to lack of knowing and remembering. I’d edit the post for clarity but the discussion moves so fast it’s hardly necessary.

Do you feel that I try to discredit and smear you as a person when I reply to your posts? Throw in small jabs to ridicule you whenever possible?

Of course it will.
You’re still generating groups faster with a queue system, and thus the time from creating a group to completing a dungeon goes down. And that means that the tanks and healers get ready for another group and another dungeon much sooner than they do with the LFG process.

Basically, if a tank can run through more dungeons in x time through a queue system than an LFR system, then he can also support more dps players getting into dungeons. That means that the average wait time goes down compared to the LFG system.

Efficiency in terms of group-making and getting people into the dungeons so they can plow through them and get back into the group-making is the whole ballgame here.

Never cared for it myself either, but I do like the odd peek just to see what it looks like.
