Matchmaking is the only real fix for the M+ problem

Dont think the pvp forums are in here talking about not wanting m+ queue, are they? I meant the ppl in this topic.

give me a few months and ill find out who are … they normally show themselves eventually

It is basically not a hastle to do either of those things currently. I am a solo player if forming/applying to groups was a hastle to me, then playing the game would be a nightmare.

A few clicks and I’ve got a key going.

Ofc there are boosters around. Just saying the vocal few in this thread against m+ queue most likely are not boosters.

Indeed. Putting your key in LFG, taking 4 other people and get the key going is so much effort that writing a doctorate dissertation in quantum physics is easier.

you would be surprised, most people protect their money, and LFG is the only option to sell boosts

its logical to assume they would protect their interest in LFG not m+soloq

I am sorry…

A M+ group requires 5 people. 1 healer. 1 tank. 3 DPS.

In a given time, there are:

10 healers.
10 tanks.
And 100 DPS.

By DEFENITION… only 30 of those DPS will find a group. 70 of them will NOT. You being one of them.

Now is role imbalance NOT the issue here? And why do I need more options for DDs to sit in Donorgal waiting? What is this supposed to solve?

Its like giving me an option between smashing a finger in my hand or my foot. Trying to convince me that more options will hurt less.

SO I ask again. If WAIT times, and being able to play is NOT your concern… Then what is the purpose of this?

Because to form a group you STILL need a healer. A healer that dosent exist because there are not enough for all groups.

There is no “at all cost”. Adding M+ LFG is 0 cost.

And there is no “get everyone into M+”. It is just give people who wants to do M+ another option. And people who hates M+ will still not do M+.

LFR doesn’t mean Blizzard wants to get everyone into raid, and PvP solo queue doesn’t mean Blizzard wants everyone to do Arena.

It is optional, not mandatory. It seems you can’t understand this concept.

Your shall ask yourself a different question: It doesn’t even affect your play if you don’t use solo queue, why do you QQ so much?

this guy/gal gets it.

Im one of those that would never pug. I dont even do the supereasy roflstomp automated queues because i dont like playing with random strangers. An instant queue m+ button wouldnt change that. I just keep building my network and play with my friends and guildies instead.

For some i guess the signing up or listing grp in the current system can be intimidating and they would use it if it was automated. Just because its more accessible. Think some of them will try a few times, realise its not at the same level as other queued content and be put off by the difficulty. Especially when you get a bit up in levels and affixes like fort/tyra kicks in. But we will only know if they ever implement it.

But there IS a cost. I used to PvP. I no longer PvP.

And like me, may others. So PvP slowly died. The community used to be huge. No longer.

use LFG build a network for pvp

With WHO? Half the people are in Donorgal waiting for a SoloQ that never pops. The other half are in LFG and there are only “pros” left that reduce their MMR to literally camp low ratings.

And the people that should be there, dont do PvP anymore.

so what your saying is SOLOQ is so popular no1 wants to use LFG anymore

i wonder if you just admitted to the success of SoloQ

  • i mean you could always " link ur own key" or " link your own pvp rating "

LFR requires 2 tanks, 5 healers and 18 dps, when do you see a LFR dps queue passes 2 hours?

M+ requires 1 tanks, 1 healer and 3 dps, I am sure those dps will be fine to find a group, even if queue is long.

I am sure people who wants to use auto queue are well aware that dps queue will be longer than tank/dps. It has been like this since wow day 1.

And why are you worrying about others having long queue when others are fine with it, and you don’t even use auto queue? lol

There is a cost. And I trust you are not as naive as that other guy(which I am already ignoring) on this thread who believe IF Blizzard introduces soloQ, it will leave everything as it is and will not make any changes at all to accommodate it + concrete hard promise…no GUARANTEE that if its “quable then it must be killable by a houseplant” will not get applied to m+…no matter how hard some people will bleat on forums and social media…

Please tell me you are not that naive… please?

Sometimes it’s the only solution. I have characters where I’m thinking “I wouldn’t even invite this loser, I better make my own group.”

I see you are finding all kind of excuses to argue against another option for players to join M+, interesting.

I said half the people are waiting for a quew that never pops. And you know where they are? In the PvP forum complaining that the quew never pops.

And WHY do they play SoloQ, because as a DPS there are higher chances of winning. But NOT as a healer. So there are no healers in SoloQ, they wait for ages.

Meanwhile, climbing in rating in LFG became increasingly harder because of lack of players. Especially for healers. So they too stoped playing at some point.

And in the end… a PvP player that wants to play in arenas has literally ZERO chance to play. SoloQ or LFG. And as a result, NOBODY gets rewards. NOBODY climbs rating. SoloQ OR LFG.

And that is how you kill a game mode: By fragmenting the base.
