Mecha gnomes instead of sethrak as an allied race while horde goes with vulpera?

Mmm, yeah, right. So what would you call it, huh?
Or is the fact they have player-character level customisation, the ability to equip armour, have geosets for cloaks and tabards, and custom animations, alongside continued plot relevance and a brewfest icon added in alongside all the other current allied races, is that all just a coincidence?
Or you’re a troll, which is quite likely considering.

You know they’d have to do that anyways if they were to make a toy that changes you into a Vulpera… ? x)
Why are we even arguing over such a futile thing ? Just give it some time and we’ll see if they’ll ever be added. They said it themselves that they don’t have any plans for any new allied races, and they are right.
Allied races were just meant to be reskins with at least some lore backup. Vulpera are/have neither of these.

DI Dwarfs have been part of the Alliance since Cata, over a decade ago…

We just had a devastating civil war which destroyed half of our population, destroyed our previous source of food and consumed all of our people’s resources.

I know! Let’s jump into bed with a warmongering faction who will drag us into a world war! Who needs time to recover our people or anything.

When it’s extremely likely with Blizzard, it’s almost certain.

They didn’t. They only ever said “No” about Alliance High Elves and that wasn’t even “No”, it was a walk around with a funny meme to be.

Because this is the forums and we have nothing better to do with our lives.

If a race getting its own rig, animations, icons, the ability to equip all armor and weapons is bs in your opinion son, then you are 6m short of having any kind of constructive or rational discussion about the topic in the first place.

No disrespect, but what you said there is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a while.
Do you know how much time and effort it is to get an npc race transformed into actual playable characters?

You literally just told me that there is no difference between an actual car and a car frame. Yeah i guess putting a motor in it, wheels, axels, everything from ground up is not indicative of the frame being turned into an actual damn car.
At least somehow in your mind.

I pray for Sethrak.

A Sethrak rogue would be the sweetest thing ever. Or perhaps Shaman, as they like their lightning.

A decade? A mere blink of the eye timescale, to the Kaldorei… and it was a Bronzebeard, not a blood Thaurissan who swore allegiance.
Beware the drums in the deep.

It was the Queen of the Dark Iron Clan who swore allegiance.
If you have a problem with that, I’m sure you’ll fit into the lava with the others who disagreed with her.

I’m just salty the Corehound mount doesn’t scale up in size, when it’s not being ridden by bearded ankle biters, so I’m not sure there is sufficient lava.

Maybe you should be a man then, go out and tame a true corehound for your mount, not a one headed runt.

I have both… plus dual Corehound Hunter pets, to match the mounts… and the pup.
:slightly_smiling_face:

I can hear the ancient hysteria from here.

Ragnaros and Cyrukh shouldn’t have left their kennels unlocked… likewise Tichondrius… no point getting hysterical, after the Corehound has bolted.

They’re fox goblins, just accept it.

Blizzard have repeatedly said that the rig they base ARs on does not matter, they just pick whatever rig they think fit most for the AR they’re going to add. Which is why I think people saying that allied races with X rig needs to be added as if all base races have an AR slot based on their rig when that’s clearly not the case.

That concept doesn’t even exist.

How about worgen curse afflicted goblins?
Okay no… that thought made even me shiver…

Probably better logic for Sethrek joining the Alliance because of one questline to help them than there is for the Highborne joining the Horde because Tyrande was a bit sniffy.

Meta-reasons to keep the game balances. The same kind of meta-reasoning which gave us Void Elves because Ion doesn’t want the Alliance to have High Elves.
We just have to say meh whenever meta-reasoning comes into it. Apply the socratic method to any fantasy realm and it’ll fall apart.

It does now

Considering the DI almost doomed the world on their own accord by summoning Ragnaros, they aren’t in a position to judge abut right and wrong here. Funny enough, even now some of them are doing the same thing they used to do pre cataclysm. See the recruitment scenario.

We have underwater Goblins and Vulpera if that counts.
