And I said, and I will just quote one tiny part now, because reading a short paragraph isn’t working…
And then you ended the reply with:
So why didn’t you just post that first part without the second one? Because the second part was completely redundant and unnecessary.
My entire point was that people didn’t ask for BfA mechagnomes but for WotLK ones. Yes, it’s obvious that people don’t always get what they want. Why state the obvious?
Both quoted parts say the same thing. In different ways.
People don’t read. I totally get that people want to rant. It’s human nature.
There are only so many ways I can express that these are often player requested races, including the Mechagnomes and that they may not all be getting what they want but it’s the version Blizzard are giving them.
Doesn’t change the fact that part two is redundant to your point. You could have just typed this:
“Yeah, we are getting this new version of mechagnomes, but people wanted the WotLK ones. Tough luck I guess.”
You don’t really have a Hill to stand on here I’m afraid, considering that you’re no better in this regard. Either that’s or you don’t know how to properly convey your thoughts, which is fine I guess, as that’s also human nature for some.
My hill is perfectly fine thank you.
I have been saying the same thing repeatedly.
Yes, you’ve continuously failed to convey your exact thoughts and have been typing very misleading stuff.
All you had to write to my initial reply was this:
“Mechagnomes were a long requested race. We got BfA kind instead, but that’s simply how it is. We’ll just have to make do with what we got, even if they’re not the WotLK mechagnomes people have been requesting.”
And this whole back and forth arguing could have been avoided.
I haven’t misled anyone. I am also not required to answer in sentences or any form you see fit. The fact that you chose to not read what I wrote or put your own presumption or interpretation on it, is down to you.
I am my own person and as such will continue to express my own opinions as I see fit.
I am not here for your benefit, I am here for my own.
Way to completely miss the point. No, you’re not required to write as someone else wants. But if you continue to write in a way you do, then don’t Ben surprised I find people read it the wrong way. I can’t read your thoughts you know.
So what exactly are you trying to do here?
Apparently wasting time trying to explain what I personally meant in my replies. I couldn’t care less if I were proven wrong with a well-written argument. But this entire argument was apparently a big misunderstanding.
You are accussing me of having to be right?!?!
You who didn’t read repeatedly and then presumed the wrong thing and then had to backtrack at the end and accuse me of not writing it in a manner you wanted?!?
I couldn’t care less honestly. You’re your own person after all, and if you can do what you want. However, I can, and will point out the flaw in your reasoning, and that unfortunately is the right that you can’t deny me.
No, I read repeatedly. You were the one who repeatedly wrote misleading garbage by not being able to write what exactly the hell you meant to say. When you write something, it’s not up to the reader to try and divine what the hell you wanted to say.
I’m sorry that responses like this are too vague to decipher.
The EU-forum has no actual weight into the considerations in how the game should be developed - but /wow has, which is the absolute key difference here. If you don’t believe me, just watch the staged 2019 Blizzcon Q&A where Ion specifically states that feedback should be posted on the (US) forums and reddit. You underestimate the power they have and I have been posting about /wow for quite a while now - but to make it short, they single-handle influenced a big part of BfA.
The overall perception is negative due the timing and the low quality reuse of assets which ultimately brought them to the point where we are now. The developers have avoided talking about them for months now and most news outlets only refer the Vulpera AR as the new feature which, in hindsight, reflects on the overall state of them. But unlike Puny, you actually felt like to have a proper conversation instead avoiding it, therefore have my <3.
My apologies for being blunt, but you’re bad at such things. Someone talks with you topic 1 but for reasons you ignore them and twist the topics according how the discussion should have been lead in the first place. I too didn’t understand why you simply not went into the Mechagnome-discussion but talked about the other Mechagnomes which was kinda meh. This is why you have that mislead-discussion with him which could have saved everyone’s time if you would have just separated both Mechagnome-races.
The point is here that he wants Punyelf to acknowledge that there are two separate Mechagnome-races which would have turned the discussion richer in hindsight. But as it stands now, it’s rather a deadbeat-arguement for the sake of having not to deal with the topic.
And what the hell did that have to do with my initial response? I stated that people wanted one version and yet got another one. So we’re you just stating the obvious this whole time in order to score some “I’m right” points?
He says “These are not the Mechagnomes the minority wanted, they were Northrend ones”
And you said “These Mechagnomes have long been requested” first and then continued by saying “Well, Blizz doesn’t always give what people always wanted”
The thing is, when you say they are a long requested race it is not a requested race in this case because people never demanded cyborg (!) gnomes from Mechagon Island.
This is the summary of discussion between you. Eridu meant that “Why are you trying to depict this like people wanted have always been requesting these Mechagnomes?”
This is already source of Alliance’s suffering. There are many 10 iq Alliance players on the US forums and they are generally pretty weak in comparison to Hordes on those forums. This is why we kept getting rekt throughout the BfA.
You can be as blunt as you like, it doesn’t change that people see what they want and answer without reading. They presume things say something they don’t.
I don’t understand why people can’t just say oops sorry misread, or didn’t read. It’s much easier than having to have eleventy three posts where they eventually realise they were wrong but then can’t admit it for some reason or just make an even bigger deal out of it.
No one was misled, but some pretty terrible presumptions were made, and it didn’t matter how many times I said it, no one read.
Even Eridu admitted that we are not in disagreement and that the Mechagnomes were requested by the playerbase. We also agree that not everyone is getting the Mechagnomes in a form they want.
However you and him will post until the ends of time because you would rather deflect every discussion in any way possible.
I think the reason for that is because you actually don’t acknowledge their discussion when they seek a conversation with you.
Well, which one were requested?
I’m refreshing my japanese, java/javascript/maven and french studies today for a job interview soon, therefore I have some time to kill.
A small note here that while Zandalari did get paladin option it came at a cost of them losing access to warlocks, which pissed quite a number of people off.
In my opinion, instead of just creating different look and racials for these allied races they could have explored different class options for them (like what they did with Mag’har: Giving orc players the option to be priests which normal orcs do not have access to.) That would have given them a unique flavor beside racials.
And I hope that we agree that you need to learn how to write what you mean in a form that people can read without being mislead, because the way you presented your reason was very unclear and misleading.
