It makes me sad to hear we find ourselves on the opposite sides of the battlefield. But if it must be so.
There’s one thing I’m curious about. When Lei Shen was BORN, the curse of flesh still afflicted the Mogu. After be became the Thunder King, they managed to reverse the curse of flesh.
What I’m curious about is whether or not the Mogu that live today are thus from the time of Lei Shen.
Also, I got the toy from Tashara. Time to RP a mogu
If Mogu spirit-binding and body swapping is anything to go by, and given how Lei Shen ends the very period during which Mogu discover Necromancy… The probability of some 15k old ancient mogu walking today is high.
They would make great RP villains.
I don’t think it should be a limiting factor and both should be viable. Blizzard can easily say the Engine of Nalak’sha is no longer needed by the Keepers due to Azeroth getting purified of Old God junk (or spent all its Old God killing power) and the Rajani decide to use it to start creating more Mogu for their clan. That can even give us customization options for Mogu to have flesh or be statues that were reanimated by spiritbinders, allowing for different skin options.
It would be no different from the Vindicaar, our glorified hub in Legion, become a tool of war against the Horde one expansion later. We have seen far worse examples of repurposed McGuffins after all.
I like how you typed that completely unironically while mentioning Nightborne in the sentence prior.
Anyway, honestly, I find Mogu to be extremely unappealing as a playable race. Fun to beat up, and I actually thought it was pretty cool to see a clan of good-natured Mogu loyal to Ra, but I could never see myself playing one.
Give me saberon and satyr please, thanks.
so a worgen recolour, sick. What’s next, the unschackled goblins?
I don’t get the hype for the saberon. They have no culture whatsoever and do not even seem to be consistently sentient.
when you ask an alliance player their opinion on any horde race
The truth about non-pandaren in general…
We do have precedence for races like that being included anyway with the Vulpera, so I don’t think that is a real hurdle.
The vulpera were far more fleshed out than the saberon ever were.
Next to the crack-Nelves, Recolors-Orcs/Draeneis, Tauren with moose-antlers, Gnomes but more mechanical, fat Humans, purple Blood Elf… I don’t see how thats a problem?
Pitty that flesh outness of race isn’t determing factor for Blizz giving another allied races, because if it was, I would have my arakkoa and ogres by now
This is also the first time I hear that somone would like saberon as a race. Blizz was so lazy about them that they didn’t even mention their origins. I always thought that they evolved to counter arakkoa and all the birds in the Spires of Arak, but who knows?
Hell, if we talk about ‘new’ Draenor races then even damn Botani have more lore than Saberon.
God, I’d love to see the Alliance get the uncorrupted Arakkoa.
Saddly. Arakkoa are kind of race which wouldn’t be able to have your typical female race. I think that they’d be great coutnerpart for Sethrakk given their difficult anatomy. If anythink, I think females and males could be different by tails and wings length, coloring, stuff like that. Saddly, it is probably too much effort for current Blizz to implement with existing armors and not look like worgen in helm.
I mean, the vulpera don’t have much sexual dimorphism, aside from the snout shape and females having thinner waists and breasts, so I’m sure that the arakkoa could also have some minor, yet identifiable differences between the genders!
the problem is blizzard giving us races that should be done with customization options by default. Lets stop with lazy recolours and add some kind of legit race. Example being ogres, the naga, arrakoa, saurok
You’ve got me there Moburon… (though I only have an issue with the male models personally)
You know what I was getting at though !!!
Damn I’d play an uncorrupted arakkoa.
I have one prob with quest finding Rajani. Don’t want to transfer me in invasion realm so I cant do q? How to resolve this thing
