I just recieved the following message after a 4 day ticket

The Amount of Honor in and of itself isn’t really meaningful because the system works within the relative statuses of progress over the week. The promotions are dependent on who played the most and got the highest honor ranking on their server for the week.
The bug has affected everyone else equally as well, so it does unfairly hurt the people who mostly or only played on monday and tuesday. The developers are working on getting this fixed unfortunately the rank may not be given based on the new earned honor amounts because of the way the rank updates are handled.

Can someone help me to understand this answer correctly. Will I or will I not get my lacking rank points back? i need to know if i have to quit playing WOW
If it hasnt been corrected by now, probably not. As soon as the new calculation is done on wednesday, the week before is gone.
You will not, in other words they said… we know its unfair but we wont do anything because ranks are calculated on wednesday have a nice day
Unbelievable! So this mean that even though i would have reached rank 7 before christmas holidays, i will now have to spend my holiday to get rank 7 instead of enjoying it with family, or else all my progress will get lost due to decay?
Sad thing here is that this did not affect everyone!
I’m beyond pissed now. I would have got rank7 last week if this did not happen and probably would PvPed a lot more this week so I could get rank8 tomorrow (all I wanted from PvP). Now its gonna take one extra week and I’m already thinking about not even bothering.
When did Blizzard, once company with best support there is, become so lazy?

I have to spend my time with the family, i sadly cant continue to rank… i hope atleast no fall back…

Don’t you get it people?? They want you to play as long as possible, that’s why they introduce all these kinds of bugs!

So did you get your lost rank points back?
A gm contacted me again today, which assured me they are working on it. I cant imagine they actually going to fix seeing 2 weeks of ranks need to be recalculated for literlly everyone . But he sorta said they had the intention too if that was needed. who knows there might be hope but a response from devs would be nice
