We’re only three days into the new Traveler’s Log for the Trading Post, and I’ve already hit the cap for Trader’s Tender this month. What’s surprising is that I wasn’t even actively trying to max out—just my usual gameplay on Siren’s Isle and crafting activities got me there.
While I appreciate how accessible the system is, I can’t help but feel frustrated. There’s so much great stuff in the Trading Post, but the cap on Trader’s Tender makes it impossible to get everything I want. It feels limiting, especially when we’re encouraged to explore different ways to engage with the game.
Would it be possible to allow players to farm more Trader’s Tender beyond the monthly cap? Maybe as an additional reward for extra effort or completing bonus challenges? It would give us more flexibility and keep the system feeling fresh and rewarding.
You are not supposed to buy everything every month.
It’s designed so you have to pick your babies. We have already seen lots of items return, some several times.
They didn’t say they want to buy everything every month. They said they can’t buy everything that they want. There is a difference and it is a valid grievance.
Don’t Blizzard allow you to have more tender from giving them money for expansion orders?
It’s perfectly valid. The journal is full of different activities you can participate in to earn tender. I get my cap by doing my main activities: PvP, mount runs and levelling alts. I have zero reason to do anything else. Do you not want to incentivise people to try new and different things? The cap is ridiculously low/the mount prices are too high.
I’ll repeat my question: do or do not blizzard allow you to spend real money and earn more tender than the usual cap permits?
From next month on, we will.

I really don’t mind that you can’t get it all. Keeps rotations interesting.
I do hope they’ll update 12 month reward soon; it’s boring that it’s been the same thing for all this time. Hell, they could make a new feature for the trading post where every year a new 12 month reward is added, but you can buy older annual rewards with a ‘12 month token’ or something.
Most of the transmogg there i rly dont want too have, most of it is ugly and if something looks great you see it all the time ingame

Yeah but every month there are new items and you can only get 500 guarenteed every month.
They did before Microsoft purchase in time limited deals and they even tried to make them purchaseable permanently but that created a massive backlash so they stopped it in the Alpha Stage.
Anyway my problem is, while old stuff comes back, not the option to earn past earnable tenders. So I think we should at least get the option to do additional activities to earn more tenders if one missed some month but not beyond getting the total sum of Tenders that could be maximum possible gatherable.
Well, onward is an unknown, honestly. It’s 500 more for february for sure.
I’ve heard some content creators assume it’s onward, so I was kind of going off of that. But reading the text, I’m not convinced actually.
“Mind your Tender— We’ll be celebrating the second anniversary of the Trading Post in February with an extension to the Reward Bar during that month, allowing you to earn an additional 500 Trader’s Tender through a variety of activities and expand your spending power on a wide several selections—including previously released Transmogs, mounts, pets, toys, and previous monthly rewards.”
It could be interpreted in different ways, I suppose.
But I’m reading it as ‘only during feb’. We’ll see.
