I am raiding HC semi casually with the same people since Legion, this tier didn’t really feel that much more difficult, we got AOTC first time after about 5 weeks (which I honestly think may be a bit faster than some previous tiers). Sure we had some wall-bosses that we had to progress on, but that is to be expected. If you have a different experience of the raid difficulty, I am not going to argue against that, because it is subjective, I just don’t happen to think the difficulty of the raid tiers the last few years have been TOO much, it’s been just right.

Don´t worry. All the numbers point to the game being harder.
Content creators who have played since WoW launched agree it has become harder. (Preach pointed this out during Legion Nighthold). Asmongold has pointed it out many times as well and Asmongold used to raid Mythic and had top parses.
At the end of the day, the numbers don´t lie. No matter what kind of goalpost shifting people in this thread try to pull off. Like, but Zhujiang, who is to say? If it is bad that no one raids anymore?
Queen Azhara also had a lot of borrowed power systems, that made players stronger over time, now we have none except for tier pieces (that are kinda weak).
In BFA there were also loads of random passive damage coming from just pressing buttons. All that is gone now. which has made doing good HPS / DPS much more difficult.
We also have talent trees that increased the skill-gap during DF launch.

well maybe you should learn to read your own data? this just means new expansion lot of people who come back and drop it again before killing the last boss while later tiers only the proven guilds/raider stick around.

I didn’t hide behind an alt and I got flamed because I didn’t have cutting edge achievements. There’s no winning with these people.
All I know that relative to a few XPs ago raiding is dead. And everyone likes a challenge but when it becomes a brick wall you just end up disconnecting…

Winning shouldn’t be the default state. Winning should be an achievement.
Lowering the difficulty because some can’t win is a bad idea.
