My take on the 58 boost (41yo oldschool wow player)

Same here. I just started a new Warlock in Elwynn Forest, and I’m super excited to get back to levelling her. I don’t care if I’ve seen the world 50,000 times before that’s not how it works, each journey is unique.

You like doing the same chore everyday.
You would be a good cotton plucker. For you everyday is special and different in a good way no?

Most of us geeting sick of the same thing day in day out. So boost is a great addition

It is the way of the world. All real life content can be skipped with money, so why not in a game? Remember boost is not even close to pay to win

Unfortunately it’s nothing else but an opinion of you and other oldschool-minded players. Money says otherwise, and lazy players of 2021 say otherwise.

Good for you

Because it’s a GAME. Paying money to skip progression is like paying money to buy a trophy.

Or at least to buy progression towards winning a trophy.

Welcome to online gaming.

Since there are so many people paying thousands of euros for a knife skin in CS:GO, which gives absolutely no advantage but only a different model or color on your knife, having people pay for an actual advantage in a game isn’t really surprising, is it?

I am all for the the L58 boost. WoW was just another mmo back in the day.( did DoaC for 4 yrs prior to WoW, Lord Kairamar to you :p) It was only when Burning Crusade hit i persuded four of my mates to play too. They have no interest in vanilla, as never played it first time round… so why should they endure something they do not care for. I only got my druid to L60 this time round because i expected TBC classic soon after. TBC & Lich are the golden age, not vanilla !

Are you aware that you also need to level from 58-70?

There is always this option You know, that You dont have to buy the boost

Blizzard is business so sooner or later they will try to make more money on their products. Thats the reality and times we live in, ppl can vote with their wallets and just not buy the boost.

Yes i know, so boost to 58 is ok yes

Skipping content is never ok

So you do every single quest in the game?

I dont pay to skip levels.

Don’t parry my question. You and your friends are always like “no skipping content”
So i ask do you skip quests? If so, you are skipping content.

In other words. You anti boosters still want to skip content. Only you want to tell dictate what should and should not be skippable content.

Skipping quests isn’t the same as skipping an entire base game.

I have still quested and earned those levels through questing.

I cant imagine you’ll understand that though

I will boost and still will do content of the base game (like going to city hubs) it cannot even be avoided if you wanted.

You skip content yourself. It is hypocritical that you yourself skip content, but telling other’s they cannot skip content which you do not deem fit for skipping

Yeah cos paying to skip an entire base game over missing a few quests in Darkshore because you’re questing in Redridge makes perfect sense

Tan.

I do not think you are trolling but that you really do not understand or know how to cope with other opinion’s. You just cannot see it.
It is ok, nobody is perfect.

But it would be good for you to also try to understand other views. Your opinion is not the only one in the world. Try to allow other people to have their opinion.
