Someone looking at a name, and responding with either a “Eh” or just moves on and ignores the player.
Or an individual trying to report said character and possibly hope that the player gets banned as well.
Generally their personalities don’t really reflect their names. Many years ago in a different MMO, I was invited to a guild called ‘Fourth Reich’. I only joined because they were the top guilds in PvP. They were the biggest sweethearts I had ever met, seriously. Seven years later I’m still friends with them to this day. I’ve been harassed by more people with legitimate roleplaying names than “offensive” ones.

There’s absolute no hope for people who try to bring far right politics into a discussion about video games.
I wish there was some kind of filter or macro available that would instantly block anybody, anywhere on the internet that used garbage alt right memes like ‘SWJ’ ‘cuck’ ‘snowflake’ ‘soy boy’ etc. etc. so that I wouldn’t have to suffer their nonsense - but sadly these forums don’t even have a normal block function.
On my darker says, I fondly imagine a device that instantly sends 250 volts up the bottoms of any person who uses these words and phrases - so maybe I’m a bad man

If a random bus crashes somewhere in a far-off place with a few casualties it’ll be mentioned in the media, meanwhile we have no idea how things are in Syria or the Ukraine… It’s all clickbait news, nowadays - sensation sells - and it’s making people stupid and uncaring.

Bigots exist across the whole political spectrum, and in general personality make-up in politics is more of a horseshoe matter than a simple ‘left-right’ dychotomy.
But all this is rather missing the point of naming policies, many people play these kind of games to GET AWAY from the real world shizz, so ANY political reference is less than ideal.
So neither Vegan nor National Socialist German Workers Party references are okay (Hitler being a vegetarian muddles the issue btw).
