But void elves aren’t emo elves nor goth elves. They are supposed to be void elves and blizzard really missed that part when they made them emo elves.
It’s the small details, that I like.
When you use it, your hand glows blue, so it looks like your either casting a Frost or Arcane arrow, which is very fitting for the High Elves.
I do use Thas’dorah on my Blood Elf Hunter, because it suits him - but my Void (High) Elf, will continue using Thori’dal.

Just checked the colours of that row of appearances and 1 is extremely Blood Elven, which is red and gold, the other is blue and silver (which is High Elven), the other is purple and red (which is very Sylvanas-styled) and the last is gold, black and green. Not sure where that fits in Thalassian lore.
I’d say, many of those appearances are based and centered around Quel’Thalas and Sylvanas. We have 1 which could be for Vereesa.
Well the green one would fit a ranger like Alleria or simply a Night Elf :-), that purple one also fits a Nightborne 
Well I’m trying to get the Rift Stalker top and legs. But I need some stuff to drop to get it, and I had no luck last week. But maybe this week is different.
I’m also getting the Silver covenant tabard on my Human so I can transmog it on my Void elf

I’d respectfully disagree.
Many Dark Ranger RP’ers do use that appearance. The purple isn’t an “in-your-face” sort of purple. It’s very subtle which blends with the red and black. I’d say, the row was very “Sylvanas” styled and going through a few stages in her life (High Elf and Dark Ranger) and what could have been her life (Blood Elf-like appearance).

Belf do not need these represented. Such are an absolute minority within their culture and where they exist they are shunned. Belf have a rich enough narrative without adding such elements.
As said previous, belf have their narrative, velf have theirs, they can look identical for all I care but where they start sharing the same racial narrative problems crop up a la pandaren. Giving belf additional stuff with a loose justification in lore to diversify their narrative from helf, so helf encroachment doesn’t seem as copycat is not the solution. Belf and velf both have perfectly good ones already, so leave them alone I say.

That’s basically what I’m saying. What they showed in Beta is enough. No more borrowing or adding natural styles.
Ion made it very clear that we would not get High elves on the Alliance, so the fact they decided to give us Normal skin colors is a blessing. Yes it’s not the complete look, but it’s close. Blizzard tried their best To give in to the high elf demands without making it into a copy cat situation. I’m glad they kept the hair colors as it is. And they will update the underwear soon.
We could NEVER have the complete High elf look because it would be a copy paste situation. So they needed that extra (Void) factor to their hair and Racials to make them unique, which is why Blizzard added High elf skin to Void elves.
I’m 100% happy with the beta. (I know some will disagree with me, and that’s ok) but looking at it the way it is, blizzard actually tried to give in the best they could, and they did a great job!
Using the beta customization with appropriate transmogs and the silver covenant tabard, and you basically have a 99% High elf look.
I made a video showing Different (High elf) looks on the Void elves in beta. They look fantastic!
I included some easy/cheap transmogs too

Like I said multiple times the skin tones at the moment look horrible and they will 100% stay that way with no changes to the underwear,nail polish,faces or lipstick
Edit:let’s face it if they really had plans to change them they would have but they didn’t. So I’m sorry to say this to you and any other void elf fan. Void elves from the beginning were a lazy wanna be High Elf race. The fact that they had to intention of changing the skin tones a bit showed how they didn’t care about Void elves. If they will change those things it’s gonna be because of a MIRACLE. Let’s face it Blizzard never really cared about the Alliance, and the only reason why void elves are getting those blue eyes was because Horde are getting the actual High Elves (which is again another middle finger and fu to Alliance) i don’t care about these options anymore, but what I said is 100% true
