But you have at least developers there who read your postings.

Well another build is being datamined and once again no new options.
Guess they are just putting a break on customization for a while, they are making heavy changes to the soulbind system.
Like I said I doubt we will see any new customization options. And the art team doesnāt have anything to do with those things.

We already saw that. The customization options are done. This is the second build without anything regarding customization options. Thereās nothing else coming thatās 100%
For core races maybe. But they havenāt been kicking off Allied Race customization.
ā¦which isnāt really much. Apparently they need the blond velf-hair options for another ābreak the glassā-emergency or content drought which is absolutely lame at this point.
I doubt we will see anything coming. They never said they will work on the allied races in Shadowlands. They only said they will work on the core races.
Edit: allied races got a few new things because the core races got as well a few new things so they didnāt want to leave them complete out.
Ion said they will, but on later patches.
I wouldnāt trust anything he says. He said they are focusing on the core races and are working to get them into beta and they did. Thatās all he said. Plus he always says āwe might do that more in the futureā like the mage tower he kept saying āhe will definitely do something similar to thatā but they never did that
The assumptions and jabs at Blizzard because VE donāt have blonde hair yet are needless. What you think is happening behind the scenes is not fact. At this point, take a step back. Could be a good idea to discuss some other VE and BE customisation. The more ideas the better. Iāve seen some really cool void stuff brought up for VE in the ā¦ one to two posts that bring it up at all. 3D models and textures do of course take time to make, weāll probably be waiting a long time, but to say it isnāt going to happen is just not true.

I wasnāt talking about Void elves. I was talking about races in general. We will see I guess. But Iām not putting any hopes that they will add more. My hopes for Highborne options for Night Elves has died because I know they are not gonna happen. Iām not being negative Iām being realistic

Admittedly the Highborne stuff is less likely given they seem to be giving that treatment to Blood Elves at the mo. Night Elves have some really cool stuff but if itās not what you want thatās fine. The Blood Elf stuff we have isnāt really my thing either. As for races as a whole, Iād be very surprised if we get to Shadowlands and nothing more is added, especially in the patches that follow after. Blizzard is aware of how popular the customisations are, as said by the art director himself, and they have a pretty strong focus on cosmetics these days.
I fully understand not wanting to set yourself up for disappointment, but things point in the favour of this not being the end. As I said, there are months to go. Iāve seen you getting downhearted about it which is sweet because youāve said you donāt intend on using the HE stuff for your character. No game is worth adding to what is likely already a pile of struggles. As someone thatās in and out of talking therapies on the reg, itās alright to take a step back from situations that are making you unhappy, even when itās making efforts on behalf of someone else.
Iām not sure how you would be surprised. Itās not like they havenāt done things like this before
