New customization options for blood elves and void elves

Then just move on

Well, there are some people here who claim that this announcement would “destroy” or “contradict” established lore. So I just wanted to know if you’re pro or contra the new options, regarding that matter.

But everything’s fine, I agree with your statement 100%.

Probably not, these blue eyes are kind of a defining trait for the DKs
(Yes, I’m aware of the irony in this sentence :yum:).

Yay thank you Thyvene :slightly_smiling_face:.

Btw will void elves have new added hairstyles. Long hairstyles. The female void elves have some high elf/blood elf hairstyle with added tentacles but the void elf males do not have that and I see at the female hairstyle that the tentacles is gone on their hairstyle. Well I was thinking about the “Slicked” blood elf hairstyle for the male void elf or if you can “Finish” the hairstyle called “Warped” that the void elf males have so its not cut in half but is completed, that would be different hairstyle compared to the blood elves if needs to be that. Ohh and is there any new hair color for void elves Thyvene?

Again thank you Thyvene.

Of course. Well, I am against such opinions really, people can speak their mind but not like “RP servers are going down” or whatnot. Nothing will change, many people wanted such options for their Quel’dorei characters.

Playing a Void Elf myself, the Void-form change is something desirable too. I don’t see how it can be that bad. Especially the Void-form. But yes.

that is not high elves, we need introductory quests/lore to accompany this in order for them to be considered ‘’ high elves’'. as of now this is a cheap copy-pasta with no thought to it.

this is just blond void elves with less void power levels.

holy velf priest

shadow/void lightforged draenei priest

zandalari paladin

I have a suggestion for the character customization changes we are going to have in Shadowlands, though i had this idea for the Void Elves, who are going to get Blood/High Elf skin tones, this also can be given to Dwarves, Trolls and possibly the Night Elves, it’s the “demonym” option.
It works this way:
As a Dwarf character you can choose between being referred as a Bronzebeard Dwarf, or Wildhammer Dwarf. In face of the new Wildhammer customization options given to the Dwarves, i think this will be a simple and easy to implement option. It should be also given the option to be called simply as a Dwarf and nothing else, some people might want the simplicity.
For Trolls, you can choose the name of the tribe, Darkspear Troll, Sandfurry Troll, Dark Troll or Raventusk Troll (those Forest Trolls from the Hinterlands that allied with the Horde). Or simply Troll, why not.
For the Night Elves, if they gave them Highborne customization options why not give them the option to refer their characters as Highborne.
As for the Void Elves, give them the option to call their characters High Elf too. Those skin tones seems to be the intended playable High Elves people are asking for.

Some examples: Longbeard. Level 120 Bronzebeard Dwarf Warrior. Brewtatoo. Level 120 Wildhammer Dwarf Shaman. Forestmom. Level 120 Raventusk Troll Druid. Lègôlâsz. Level 120 High Elf Hunter.

TLDR: Since we’re receiving character customization in the Shadowlands, “demonyms” could very well be a good addition.

interesting RP suggestion, but not going to be implemented due to the huge amount of extra work this would entail for a tiny minority playing dwarves. (rewriting so much quest text)

They also get the Void Elf facial hair for males that people have been asking for since Void Elves became a thing…

Or well, since before that even… People have been asking for better facial hair for Blood Elves since they were implemented.

Really every Horde paladin at that point.

Dark Blue and Purple eyes for Void Elves! We already had DK eyes for blue eyes :pouting_cat:

Probably someone already pointed this out but… Ion specifically said that the datamining for blue eyed blood elves was not official and not going to happen.
Don’t really care personally about this, but I am really tired of them lying all the time.
I buy every expansion based on things they promise in the interviews for upcoming content and always get dissappointed later. (again this is just an example but got me really mad since the interview is probably not even a month old.)

Son.
Let me be your Rommath and teach you a little about magic.

You are very much correct in saying that fel costs life energy, what you fail to understand though; is that fel is not produced upon life force being siphoned, but life force is used to produce fel.

There is a difference in there.

Just drawing the life-force itself is not producing any fel, but the life force CAN be used to fuel fel magic, so as you can see… no fel magic is produced simply for siphoning life force.

World of Warcraft: chronicles volume 1

Regardless, Blood Elves DID NOT siphon life force… they siphoned mana, and mana IS NOT life force.

That aside.

Eh, a little sad that blizzard did not go for some of the more creative fanmade fair-skinned void elf options, with hands and feet still void-touched, but the rest of the skin otherwise normal… looked much cooler.

And then the other question.

Will the other allied races see more options immediately like the Void Elves?

I honestly don’t understand why any Horde players are upset by this.

Mechagnomes are pretty awesome.

Despite me loving to call them diaper gnomes.

How about a fourth paladin spec? Dark knight spec (a fallen paladin) Maybe call the spec dark or shadow. Like paladins have holy which is similar to priest holy spec. so why not if the paladin have a spec that is similar to priest shadow spec. that it is dps spec using shadow/void powers with meele skills. Sort of mix between shadow and ret spec. That would give void elves paladin class. and could also switch to holy, ret and prot. Wouldn’t make sense sure but it doesn’t make sense either for void elves to be holy or disc spec and for Lightforged Draenai to be shadow spec since they are infused by the light and void elves are infused by the void and yet they still have access to those specs. it would also give forsaken to be paladins since they can be priests and use holy and disc spec which makes no sense for them since the light hurts them but the void does not and yet they have those specs. And with dark knight spec they can be paladins but can change to the other specs if players want to.

It’s just an Idea.
