New customization options for blood elves and void elves

Mechagnomes were NOT well received.

I who’d on AD and SM peak and quiet times and there is always more than 50 mekka online .
They are a fun race with very strong racials .

Back then it was “their” character model, now it’s “their” skin colors…

Mechagnomes are pretty awesome.

Despite me loving to call them diaper gnomes.

Lorewise they are very interesting…

But I’ll admit that their customization options are very lackluster.

AD is a well known alliance server thats why you will see more belfs on Dreanor as its a horde server nothing confusing about it .

you did /who mechagnome on the only alliance realm other than silvermoon and found 50 gnomes. okay. that’s your experience and no one denies that.

i did /who BLOOD ELF on draenor, one of the dozens of horde realms and the population shown was astronomical.

this counts as a SUCCESFFUL - popular race.

junkdiaper gnomes do not.

I am so glad we are going to get blue eyes on blood elves. I will also enjoy the new options on my Velf even though I don’t play her often.

Technically we are all High Elves who decided to rename ourselves, both belf and velf . It’s not like we’re into next generations or anything.

Blood Elves and High Elves are exactly the same race…

Void Elves though, are a bit different. At least physically, being infused with the Void and everything.
Though culturally they are the same.

Except you compared Draenor and AD which made zero sense when it came to Blood Elves. Also if you are going to do a comparison of popular races. They should be that, the popular races. On Alliance that has usually been human or nelf. Your comparison is like comparing Highmountain Tauren and Night Elves.

indeed, undead priests should have a plaque spec(instead of shadow cough vanilla devouring plague), trolls(voodoo spec), nelf star/lunar spec etc. changing names and apperances while keeping the balance across the board.

There was a very heavy use of fel in Quel’thalas, so much so that even those who’d stand away from it usually would be exposed to it and have their eyes turn green, hence the radiation effect. Drawing mana from living things also turns the eyes green as it’s a form of fel magic. More so than that, the High Elves in Allerian Stronghold have blue eyes.

Curious that you left out the bit of that Dev quote that proved me right. I mean we can link mobs if you like, want all the Sunreaver ones with Blue eyes, or will you concede that Blizzard are correct?

It is another source of corruption. You would also get green eyes even if you didn’t do it, but were in the proximity of those who did it heavily, like I said in my first post.

However Blizzard emphasised that is not how it works.

I don’t know where to go with this, I genuinely don’t. Blizzard are stating how it works, I am stating how Blizzard say it worked, you have this different idea in your head that is not in line with how it is shown to work in game…

The ones that no High Elves have post Exile?

Alleria has them. She left Azeroth pre: the Exile, so nope, not a High Elf thing.
Rommath has tattoos, he’s quite famously a Blood Elf.
Kael’thas has Tattoos, runic ones around his face, again, quite famously a Blood Elf
The WCII Ranger units has red warpaint. 90% of them are dead. of the survivors, 90% of them are Blood Elves.

Remind me of this High Elf thing of Tattoos and warpaint?
