I’ve just been able to make a “Highborne Mage” which I’d say fits the vibe extremely well. https://shadowlands.wowhead.com/dressing-room#qmzV0zJ89c8X8rG8W8Mj08Y8MIC8Z8r38qP8Mfn8bF8MAs8bl8MNU818fa8bW8MT28bU8MLa8bb8Muf8bw8Mut8br8MuL8bh8MuD858ft87MHIW8zcE8RJj8M0B8PdL8zmi87MdtW808HI28ts8lWY808JmO8K8lZP8tz8DIH8zmv8C0p87k
So, it’s not hard to create a “Highborne” image with the new features. You’ve just got to be creative with what they’ve given you. Obviously, I use the necklace which is silver with a purple diamond, but the crescent moon head-dress also works.
Highborne still had Priestesses in their ranks, such as the Temple of the Moon in Vashj’ir and High Priestess Siralen, who was Azshara’s personal High Priestess.
But you’ve got silver earrings which I didn’t even include (mainly because it was just a quick thing.)
So we’ve got options and the new hairstyles can be made into a “Mage” image.
Darling, Nightborne literally has 3 skin tones, 1 face ( rest is bs that’s why not counting) few hairstyles… let the race that has so limited customization have smth first.
Darling I’m all for Nightborne having more options obviously I like them better than Blood elves. My monk is a Nightborne who was trapped in a bubble for ten thousand years. She’s ready to explore Azeroths afterlife in a new style. I honestly wish they would work on all the races at the same time (I know they can’t but something also tells me they don’t really want to which is a shame). I was just saying what I want for Night Elves and Blood elves.
Well thus far, Lightforged Draenei and Highmountain Tauren have been taken down from the character creation screen on the Alpha.
So it looks as though Night Elves and Blood Elves have got everything that they’re going to get.
I’d say - Nightborne are probably the next AR to be disabled from the character creation screen.
I wouldn’t count on anything new besides a new eye color and males having the option to choose which facial hair they want. Trust me this is coming from the race who Blizzard was so lazy to change the underwear and nail polish. Not too mention how we got like zero natural hair options so Horde got the real high elf aesthetic.
Edit:while we got “wanna be like high elf options”
But with all due respect - unless you want to get up to all sorts in Goldshire Inn on Argent Dawn EU, your not going to running around naked anyway. So me personally - Void/Blood Elf underwear isn’t a big concern of mine.
You’ve got to remember, Allied Races weren’t even supposed to be getting any new features, but here we are. So Lightforged Draenei and Highmountain Tauren have gone down - next, if we follow the order - it should be the Nightborne.
Pretty sure they will be the next. But the underwear just looks too off even if you never see it. You know it’s there. Hopefully they’ll change this and they’ll give them some hair colors. Alleria has them. I’m hoping for some Thalyssra options for Nightborne. At least the EYES!! Please I don’t think I’m asking for too much now.
Edi:if no golden jewelry for Night Elves, no natural hair colors for void elves and no way to toggle their void form AT LEAST give Nightborne those small eyes the npc’s have
“Please let our characters look as good as the NPCs” is never asking too much, whether it’s about Void Elf underwear or Nightborne eyes or Tauren body paint.
They put it in the game so we can see it, they can’t complain when we then ask to use it.
Well Nightborne are supposed to be getting blue eye colour, so whilst we’re at it - we might as well at least give the Female Nightborne the smaller eyes.
Smaller eyes would make some of the older faces look better.
But also give radiant arcane tattoos and hair styles, just like the NPC’s.
Small earrings and blue eyes aren’t cutting it for me either and if the other Legion allied races are getting new things, then Nightborne should also be getting new stuff.
maybe…everyone should be able to buy a new set of underwear?
i mean, i know, its stupid right? but…
i would like to change out my bra and panties now and again here in game.
consider it a gold sink bliz. and you would make some players happy at least.
I know the new Void Elf stuff is all about High Elf customization options, but I hope they don’t forget about the Void stuff. More customization is always welcome, I personally would like all Blood Elf hairstyles (and they could get ours, too) including natural hair colors (will be added most likely).
I suppose they will start doing Allied Race stuff after 9.0 so in future Shadowlands patches. I expect them to give us ear length, more jewelry - something similar to what Blood Elves get like arm and wrist jewelry, necklaces, etc.
Most of this stuff will eventually come, but I hope they don’t forget about Void appearance. More dark/purple/blue/grey skin colors, hair colors and hairstyles. For now, we only get the 3 new eye tints (including the HE ones) so I’m looking forward to the purple eyes. I think both Void and Blood Elves should get tattoos in different colors.
This is all my opinion, not something I would beg for, but I would be very pleased.
A lot of that body jewelry for Blood Elves isn’t happening.
It was just datamined, but not put in.
As a Blood Elf fanatic, I don’t mind as I would be wearing armor all the time anyway and I don’t believe in sl*tmogs.
I don’t think they’d ever do this for the simple fact that you would have no differences between the races and that is key.
Void Elves have been shaped differently by the powers they yield - I support the idea of Void Elves getting light blonde, black and silver-grey (like Vereesa), but as far as the red and brown hair colours, they should be only for Blood Elves, in my opinion.
Plus, with the Blood Elves getting blue eyes as well and Void Elves getting purple eyes, I think Blizzard will want to keep a clear distinction between the two.
Just like Night Elves and Nightborne.
I’m not talking about the old body jewelry that was datamined and then scrapped. There is new wrist and arm jewelry. Google it The arm jewelry is 3D and it looks so cool.
The reason I can’t support this argument is because we have Pandaren. And btw, I never liked the brown and red on Blood Elves, so they can keep it!
