This is the text from the official support page.
As far as I can tell, the 30 instance caps in scarlet monastery works different from the 5 Instance cap. Since SM is considered “1 zone” you can do all 4 dungeons, reset and do all 4 again well withhin an hour.
Sadly it seems the 30 instance cap works differently and I can’t play the game I’m paying for anymore after doing that 7 times and raiding onyxia

I also wrote a ticket about this, to me it seems just like sloppy coding not considering the specific cases of instances like Scarlet Monastery or Dire Maul.
This is a bug at best, and a “feature” it worst if you decide to just ignore it and keep wasting your trusting players time. I hope I can get an official response to this “feature” as unlikely as it is

Dogshít change, needs reverted and/or adjusted ASAP. There’s a reason why this post blew up with responses along with Reddit and other forms of discussions as it truly is a genuinely terrible implementation.

I do not appreciate this change, it is unacceptable actually.
How can you even consider something like this is beyond me. I play a lot of instances in classic, whether solo grinding, boosting randoms, farming with friends or doing some stuff with guild mates.
This implementation is not only very poor action against bots but also it is limiting the entire playbase. I can easily lock my self out and hate it by just doing couple hours of jump runs in DME with a friend, or boosting couple of lowbies in SM with my mage or farming some earth elementals in maraudon…
How is this even a thing that we have to deal with now ?
How can you even implement something like this and say against bots ? What ?

Good point, I asked myself the same thing.
By how they explain I think it’s the 24h not per day.
And obviously that’s ridiculous.
If for example you play Friday 15 resets you’ll be limited for 15 Saturday morning. Cool.
30 per day I think it’s enough for 99% of players but with 24h that’s something else.
