Are they ‘out of touch’ though, or is their entire business model set up on micro transactions?
I wouldn’t be surprised to see some “Opt out of instance caps for just £3.99 a month…” or even WoW Classic tokens from them in the near future…

And to think I’ve done 15 years of monthly subscriptions / purchasing expansions down this lot… Get close to walking away, get fed a glimmer of hope - rinse and repeat.

It was garden (puke…) on top of the dailies grind that I think was the initial after hitting level cap? In any case the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Few design decisions set off an actual “unsubsribe NOW” reaction, whatever people say. It’s rather an accumulation. Some changes or decisions turn out not to be so dramatic after a while, and some impacts enjoyment over time and moves one step closer.
Personally, for me, this feels like the latter. It’s alien, it creates worry and changes my behaviour. Doesn’t really matter how much of that worry is irrational. I know I have hit 30 over the course of Friday night and Saturday morning and evening, and would have been locked out.

I mean he was right. A lot of people genuinely thought they did but they absolutely didn’t. The forum has been full of complaints about KNOWN AND ESTABLISHED features, such as premades, backdoors in BGs, tryhards using worldbuffs and consumables, raids being easy… The list goes on.

Again, true… but I don’t even entirely blame Blizzard you know? Yes, they have played their part and need to be held accountable.
However, I do think that the sheer presence of Twitch streamers / Youtubers has ruined the community somewhat. Sounds crazy, but the vast majority of ‘exploits / glitches’ went unnoticed back in '05-06, or kept within small circles.
The increase in social media, video streaming and large followings have brought attention to many things that are now being stripped away…

If a “solution” to combat botters involves imposing a fundemental playstyle limitation on “normal” players in a different area, then it should not be taken up. It’s as simple as that.
Like, I get the idea behind it. But shared over the realm? That’s crazy. All it will do is make ppl really concerned with their instance limit, ensuring they have enough for their farms and stuff so the chances of people jumping into dungeons ad hoc “just to help out someone” or whatever will drop to zero.

This have to be the most stupid idea ever. Imagine limiting real players with 1-2 accounts while almost not hurting botter at all. Might be time to unsubscribe

I stopped a long time ago because Blizzard changed classic so much it is nothing like vanilla anymore (and ofc spellbatching…only a retard thinks of stuff like that) but I am amazed Blizzard keeps changing stuff so it is nothing like vanilla, wasn’t there a movement like #nochanges??

Recently blizzard has implemented a solution that is 10 resets worse than the original APRIL FOOLS notes. Decisions like this is why BFA is a steaming pile. They are slowly but surely trying to make classic into BFA 2.0."
