Night Elf RP had a massive spike in activity recently. Guess it is because Blizzard hate them and ruined their story 
Well I pointed that out, that there was no positives at all. For example Silverwind Village is taken by Horde, and more than 8 years of a game Night Elves npc are dead there and rot. NPC that were our classic quest givers.
While in the book Golden wrote, that this camp was retaken by Night Elves after the war was over. So if there were actually some positives, Night Elves are not important in Blizzard eyes to show that in game.

Well there was an Interview, where one person asked Blizz Devs. He asked, that they show a lot of Horde victories over the Alliance in game. Now that Alliance won a war, will you show that in game. Will you will show Ashenvale restored?
The answer was, that there no real reason to spend so many effort, and rework entire location, just to show that Alliance had a victory.
After 5 years BFA had happened where Blizzard did spend effort to show Horde victory again.
In other words it’s ok to show Horde victories, and its not ok to show Night Elves.
