Sorry but you write to much. Please keep it much shorter. I never saw someone who can write such big comments like you.
Okay you’re right at this point. Anyway I don’t think that the Nightborne are interested on such lifestyle. As druid you’re the beast, you’re a beast. Do you think that night bornes want to be beasts? I think not.
You have no idea what “Kelibor thinks”… you’ve get so much wrong about the very group and people you claim to understand, you’re certainly not going to be right about what I think or even come close.
This is so funny, seeing that they give the horde even less and the blood elves nothing new. Except maybe night elves they can now be buddies with.
It’s far more interseting for nightborne on the alliance, it’s the grand reunion story of long separated relatives.
Nightborne interest in any art that is similar to Druidism is exactly like the Blood Elf interest.
Botanists are what the Nightborne and Blood Elves call themselves, but it’s only very few who would take up the art and Nightborne will not separate from the Horde for that.
If any wanted to learn Druidism, they would speak with the Tauren.
People need to get to grips with the Nightborne now and deal with the fact that they aren’t going Alliance, no matter how much begging people do.
Shandyra and I both know what you want and what your trying to talk about (and failing) doesn’t match with the common lore that Blizzard has crafted.
“Long lost relatives” is simply not an engaging story. It’s bland and has been done far too many times. It’s time for the Nightborne to be forward thinkers, not backwards and certainly not strip them of everything they are and ally them with people who don’t even like them anyway.
They are Horde. Deal with it.
What you also want is that the Night elves are the ONLY race that can have lore moments with the Nightborne. No others. Not Blood Elves. Not Draenei. Not anybody else - just Night Elves. That idea is a pure failure and that only increases the reasons why the Nightborne should NEVER be on the Alliance.
What I see in the Nightborne is the new “Arcane Horde Magi.” This only gives the Nightborne a proper identity within the Horde faction. Oculeth, Valtrois - they haven’t lost their identities within the Horde. Oculeth is still the quirky, yet very intelligent Mage he was in Legion and Valtrois is still Valtrois who we all know and loved.
It’s okay, you get use to it, it’s because I like being thorough, but seriously, if you just take the time to read it, you’d see a lot of thought and knowledge coming out.

As druid you’re the beast, you’re a beast. Do you think that night bornes want to be beasts? I think not.
[/quote] Druids take the form of animals, they don’t actually become animals. Dear oh dear, when did your view of our kin become so low … it’s the sort of view blood elves and races who don’t really know much about what the kaldorei or druids are really about think.
Are beasts the only thing druids can transform into? I seem to recall trees, treants, moonkin, astral forms as non-beast entities too.
I don’t think shen’dralar or priests want to be beasts either, i’m not sure about hunters though, they tend to prefer to tame and control beasts.
My point? not every night elf loves or follows druidsm, or wants to be beasts, some do though. We certainly saw nightborne very much interested in nature arts, who knows what some would do in the pursuit of knowledge, we saw enough willing to become demons as warlocks and some would view that as far worse than a sentient beast form.
We saw one and a few others who were Legion aligned.
Aside from that, no Nightborne have expressed any interested in druidism and if they were, they’d go and seek out the Highmountain Tauren, since they are close allies.
Kalibas/bor whatever. Stop it. That’s will never happen. The Nightborne stay at the horde forever. Deal with it. If they aren’t introduced like pandaren they will remain on their current faction.
Nightborne join the Reliquary? Working with the reliquary to show them how you should really be doing things with magic, yes, joining ? since when? Envoys and scholars generously assisting less abled elven cousins is not joining.
Once more grossly exaggerrating the nightborne involvement with the sin’dorei. I know you really want it, but Janearis… please, some intellectual integrity? !
And they are visiting Silvermoon and Orgrimmar, been couped up in the same place for 10 k years
Honey, it’s not her words I am in doubt of or unaware of, its your interpretation of them as some sort of one statement fits all and means all of a sudden nightborne and blood elves are best of besties and they automatically agree and take the view of blood elves on everything, including their own night elf kin.
The sucking up is coming from you and ofc Liadrin sweet talking Thalyssra, buttering her up with flatteries, definitely knows how to sweet talk the ladies huh, she really tried hard.
We all know it’s because blood elves really really want that night elf magic from the nightborne. I don’t trust them one bit.
Are you saying you feel insulted and you think that this is aimed at you personally? If this is the case, then say so, I thought you were on board with this little game.
In context of if what I say is interprettted to be rude, then it is in thesame vein of how you started responding to me, - I could have viewed that as rude. But i assumed the rudeness was targetd at the character disparities not individuality - and in-character yes, your comments were offensive, but i just took them as in-character targetted at night elf affirming nightborne which a blood elf naturally won’t like. Not as something actually personal.
If you can’t handle a discussion with in-game character elements, I’m going to stop responding to you and will reply to the others in/out of character as the situation demands.
This was not meant to insult you personally. Please do not take it as such. But if you do feel offended by it personally, you need to say so.
Shandyra, much of what is been said here is personal opinion interpreting facts, rather tahn actual facts. There are more than one perspectives, and I can assure you fans do not all have the same perspective, we won’t come to some universal agreement on how things are or shoudl be viewed.
I want many things, I’m glad you know what they are… but then I have to ask, are you sure you do? Just to make sure we’re on the same page.
in place of what? Touching re-union story, restoration of a people that have had nothing but destruction, sacrifice and loss you think cannot be exciting and moving? Why? because its been done before? but superficial besties bonding over “my mentor didn’t treat me with the respect i deserved” is more interesting?
Well each to their own.
I thought that is what we have been dealing with all this time?
Hey, I’m not sure what you expect when I talk about night elves, i would be talking about their lore moments and their various facets and groups … when I want to talk about that for draenei or blood elves, i post with those toons and comment on those topics, naturally talkinga bout night elves and nightborne on nightborne/night elf threads is going to be about them - that’s what i’m talking about.
I’m sure blood elf fans have tons of posts with their desires, views and wants for blood elves, you don’t see me going to them saying why don’t you talk about night elves or nightborne, now do you.
And don’t call an idea pure failure just because you don’t want its outcome or don’t like it.
The blood elves already had that one convered love.
Blood elves are mage focused enough. The nightborne bring less to the horde than they do to the darnassian kaldorei and the alliance.
I am not sure what you are complaining about. Have you seen the playable Nightborne?! They are so ugly and buggy. They look so disgustingly bad, that Blizzard prefers using the Legion model in Battle for Azeroth instead of the playable model.
I am glad that we got Void Elves instead. An asspull, much like the Nightborne (I certainly saw no massive mana shield back in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne), but at least they look good. I mean, ugh, as good as the subhuman garbage can get.
Nightborne would be overshadowed by Humans, High Elves and Draenei and they would be nothing. Blizzard would do a huge disservice to the fans if they saddled them with the alliance and the night elves and they knew it.
Yet, this time we see further extensions to blood elf farstrider and blood knight lore. Blood Elf Mage lore is hardly touched upon because blood elves have many layers to them. So, fill the void perfectly with the Nightborne.
It is a pure failure. We all see it.
Because it only provides for one race within the Alliance and that’s it. The Nightborne would fall into the background almost immediately as Alliance, because they would be overshadowed by the Alliance races.
No, they suit the Horde so well and have slotted into their faction like a glove.
I want things that match Blizzard’s already established lore. You want things that are do not match with the lore whatsoever.
but you’ll still bully us into believing your headcanon over what Blizzard has already established in their story? No. Go away.
It is her words, for god sake. What planet are you on?
Oh fantastic, the absolute king of thread derailing is here now, doing what he does best. And this is the point where I give up completely on this thread. Goodnight.
