Worst part is i thought that i would probably hurt Giambalin’s feelings by writing that 
if it helps, my first ever character was a cute female gnome mage with pink pigtails. But since there was 3 other mages in my guild, i was never allowed to raid. So i decided to play a healer and there was no shaman. And at the time only option for shaman was draenei. And since then i’ve always preferred draenei over every other race. But gnome was the first thing i ever chose to play in wow

…but I don’t like Vulperas!
Maybe it’s just me, but I think their camera angle has a lot to do with that rather than the race itself. I really love the gnomes, but I cannot handle the camera angle. Same goes for any short race though. My mage is still a gnome though, but I don’t think I could main one, because of the camera angle.

I dont even know if those “mechagnome image skill wannabe” cast spell (if they are used on a mage), or, if they just gonna melee the target XD.
The other problem is also, its more of a plate thing you get once you get the heritage armor, will just seems weird on a mage >.<

Well I am playing one and I like them a lot, but we all knew Vulperas were going to be massively popular while Mechagnomes are niche at best.

When I started this toon, I thought Mechagnomes would somehow be unique and interesting. However, as others have pointed out, it’s just a gnome, nothing new.
What a disappointment.
And my underwear… how embarrassing…

Well I Don’t like them either but we can’t deny the vast majority loves them. Orgrimmar might aswell be called Owgwimmaw.
better to wait for the shadowlands level squish to level one up.

it did take me a while to get used to it.
At first it made me feel sick. But now it feels normal
i would imagine there would be alot of vulpera as they have an appealing aesthetic
Mechagnomes on the other hand, are essentially an even worse looking version of the already terrible gnomes, nobody wants gnomes, even the troggs don’t want gnomes, that says alot about them.
Mechgnome = Gnome.
Vulpera = Goblins.
Nightfallen = Night elfs.
Void Elfs = Blood Elfs.
LFDR = DR.
HM Tauren = Taurens.
Mag’tar = Orcs.
Dark Iron Dwarfs = Dwarfs.
Zandalari Troll = Night Elfs (somewhat).
Kul’tiran are proberly the only new race they added, tho, bet they took thier skelet from somewhere, i just dunno atm 
Hell, even in MoP, blizz was lazy with adding new animation.
Lizard = Worgen female.
Mogu = DR.
Fish ppl = Night Elfs.
