There should be separate gearing PvP/PvE. And should be superior to specifik game. For example WPvP as expected PvP gear should be superior, but for questing in world should be PvE. Same should be in instanced PvP.
Same should be for raiding and mythic+, PvE gear should be superrior there.
The problem now is that you can’t gear only by PvP, if don’t like PvE, but can gear for booth only with PvE.
Because if give BiS gear in PvP, then this can gear up raiders with specifik slots to progress faster. I see as fix PvP stats are only way to fix and separate gearing.
If we had to do pve most part of expansion to get into pvp why pvers can’t pvp to get a pvp specific gear? What is problem with that?
At this point i see a most pvp community members as bunch of crybabys who can’t get out of their comfort zone, but hey if we had to do it for 4 year so will you if you want to participate in pvp activity.

That’s what is the current systems problem, creating players like op. They are used to spam their m15 keys and then hop into the arena with good gear. Must be funny to be pver, whole world is open for you.
Me? Until the end of the Beta. I assume the design is what it is then. Maybe it can get some tweaks subsequently, I don’t know.
I’ll play the expansion for sure though, but others will of course have to account for their own decisions regarding the expansion.
Yes, I’m hoping for something of that sort. Remember the MoP 2 pvp trinkets set bonus, damage taken from players reduced by 15%? That sort of thing would make PvP trinkets a real contender, almost no matter how stupid pve trinkets are.
That’s something that also needs to happen, so people will not have PvE trinkets. I’m hoping they come up with a good solution for some other bonuses on gear.
I’m sorry, but as far as I am concerned, the PvP system in BfA really was a complete failure. If it would have been better for me, I would have played the game past the first month in season 1.
I’m pretty sure the PvP gearing system is meant to encompass all of PvP - not just Arena.
Therefore any discussion relating to item stats, currencies, gear prices, set bonuses, or otherwise, are as relevant to the guy who does PvP in Warmode as to the guy who does PvP in 3v3 ranked Arena.

“You’re disagreeing on game vision” Of course we are its a bad vision. Just because the creator have a vision it doesn’t mean its gonna be good, they are not the one playing the game. And if a company does not listen to the consumer its essentially gonna be bad. After all the customer knows what’s fun for them.
I don’t think this is a good solution, depending on what it means.
If by “PvP-specific bonuses” we’re talking the old glove bonus, 2pc or 4pc bonuses etc then this will largely have no effect. Moreover, if they start adding “glove”-like bonuses to all slots for PvP gear I’m very afraid the game will become even more gimmicky (or things that should be baseline will be baked into these).
In best case scenario a few more pieces you will get from PvP - but PvP items will still have lower ilvl than equivalent PvE gear, so for most of your gear you will still get from PvE. Especially if the bonuses are weak this will have no effect.
It’s still a completely unsatisfactory solution. PvP stats / WoD scaling is the only thing that can fix this problem (other than things like 16pc set bonuses which will obviously never happen).
