Why do you think I care about dual spec? I argued against it in both vanilla and tbc. It alters the class and role dynamics and I am not a fan of that.

I honestly donât know how to keep everyone satisfied. How about having a few realms that have RDF disabled and have free transfers to and from them? Do you think anyone would go there?
I donât even care anymore. I wanted RDF mostly for alt leveling in the old world dungeons, but I have been reminded that wrath only had it for 70-80 normals and heroics. Which arenât really needed past first 2 weeks for anything other than a daily. I am now just resigned to do all the dungeons I need in the first month of Wrath on Nicolay and raidlog the rest of the expansion until I grow bored of it.
I just want people to realize just how dire the need for RDF will be around Trial patch, when people unsub en-masse, players raidlog Uldy and Trial25hc and the game suddenly feels like itâs empty and dead. Oh well. I suspect thatâs about time iâll duck out too, after all, I already killed Arthas 25hc when it mattered.
He just wants the private server version with every convenience in the game.

I know I would and a fair few people would also, I would have nothing against a solution like that at all. Sadly something like that is not something Blizzard would ever do. (allthough the best solution for me would still be, having no RDF at all untill ICC and then releasing it, second best option would be, phase 1 15-70 rdf, phase 2 70-80 normals and then with ICC the heroics.)
I do get that and thats why the compromise that I have suggested would be a good alternative to ether no RDF at all or having full on RDF that diminishes the social aspects.
I do get where your fear is coming from with that, I think the biggest servers will take a fairly massive hit (like they have done in TBC as well) but as someone who have actively avoided those I actually havent seen as much of those so I have a harder time to relate than I probably should (Autism also dont help). I think the drop of would be from the smaller servers though if the RDF was in from the beginning of wrath and it would come early on in phase 3 seeing as there seem to be 2 different types of players that go to the different types of servers.

I do patently and repeatedly NOT want to turn Classic Era into TBCC or TBCC into Wrath or any of those into Retail or in fact anything into anything else. I want Classic Era, TBCC, and Wrath Classic to be as true and faithful replicas of teh original as humanly possible.
Now I actually think I AM going to play a lot more Wrath Classic if oly to bother you, because thereâs two things I really dislike. To be told what I mean, and how to play!

Oh but it does. In phase 3 at the very latest. Which timewise is when it was released in the original. Following the original patches doesnât quite work with phases in classic.
Has there been one point, at any time in the game, where everyone has been satisfied? I donât think so.
Hence why it would make sense to satisfy as many people as possible.
