Ok so warmode buffs for alliance

Talking absolute noggenfogger there man… Camping and ganking is 50/50, always has been, always will be. Today I ran the assault quests in Nazmir and over 20 Horde were waiting by the submarines for players to make their way there or to spawn after completing the submarine quest. I was killed 3 times before I managed to get it completed and could hearth out.

As someone else has already highlighted above, Seeker’s Vista in Stormsong Valley is a popular camping point for Horde. As is Vol’Dun’s Terrace of the Devoted.

It will always be a part of the game. Stop whining about it, and trying to pull rank as an ‘elite PvPer’. Bore off.

ehm… what about shield, divine steed and enter the yellow submarine?
And once finished shield and stone… i did exactly that.
I was there too :stuck_out_tongue:

And Arom Stand in Drustvar is a popular camping point for Alliance. Place doesn’t make any difference, it’s the system is wrong favouring large group than the little guy.

Turn off WM jokes aside …

This 30(20)% buff is nonsense and they should remove/rework it, even that 10% bonus.

  1. Azerite is important, especially now with the slow, its nonsense giving one faction bonus.

  2. Making that buff for only lesser rewards (conquest, honor,xp,war resources) would make it completely useless, because all these rewards are useless.

  3. This buff made absolutely no impact on the balance in world PvP.
What made the actual change were incursions, you now gave people something to focus on.
Before incursions there were PvP players all the time, but they were spread around the whole location, now they are around incursions quests and when incursions end wpvp is dead again (you wont meet a single alliance player if you go to zone without invasion)

  4. If you want improve/change/fix/help the WPvP situation, reintroduce things like Warden towers, outdoor FFA arenas, Haala or even stuff like WG and make WQ count player kills for progress.
This will force the people to stay outdoors and it will make them focus on certain location.

Best thing would be removing stupid sharding and WM but … you know…

i think now this is a sharding issue on purpose. call me paranoid, but right now on my alliance 120, there are about 40 horde and nearly TEN of them have a bounty on them!

they are camping the place where the sub spawns so non stealth classes cant get there. one DH said he had been killed 13 times trying to get there.

is this griefing? normally i think maybe yes, but now they will just say turn off WM?

also, funny, i log on alliance, there are only a few alliance around, and 40+ horde camping us. (yes i tried to make a group. best i got was 5). BUT (in the past as ive turned it off on horde now) i go on horde toon, and im swarmed with alliance!

its like no matter what i play, im outnumbered always with not enough ally around to face the other faction. so…is it TERRIBLE sharding?

also, if you CAN finally make it onto the last quest, you should be able to complete it. i keep arriving late, and if i can even complete 4 wq’s in time, (not always possible even with wm off cause of timing) the final quest despawns on me. i was left standing on mid air in zuldazur a few days ago because the ally airship despawned after i had lit the 2 drums of oil. -_-

i think we need incentive to turn on WM. Not a quest 370 ilvl.
Let us use PVP talents in PVE content and Alliance will switch it on 24/7. Bosses in Boralus and DA chance drop legendaries and cool mount and we’ll see a lot of incursions in enemy capitals.
Put back the honor titles and let people climb the ladder of honors :stuck_out_tongue: I was once Senior Sergeant lol.
We don’t need 10% buff… we want something to fight for… or at least that’s what i want.

WM shards are faction balanced, it’s LFG raids that unbalances them. Doesn’t matter normal or RP realms. LFG is regionwide.

Horde has a larger pool of WMers In EU to create raids faster and larger. An advantage over Alliance. The 30% + quest encouraged more Alliance WM, but ofc still not enough. We are disadvantaged, hence the extra incentive.

There has to be a leveling buff for Alliance as long as faction imbalance favours Horde. Period. It’s economics, plain and simple. There is no other solution.

Just to inform, last night I went Seeker’s Vsita for the rep for turtles again and again killed on the spot after exiting the WQ. I became so indiffirent that I don’t even fight back anymore and can just think “Why do Horde camp this 24/7? I will just waste their time by luring them as far away a spossible and just die”. Maybe I will get the suicide knife from ToT from now on.

But thanks to camping Seeker’s Vista, Uldir entrance and the camp in Nazmir for months that whenever I hear “Alliance are ganking me!” I can just answer “Your faction deserves it for it for what it did for months, sure maybe you weren’t doing it and you were caught up in the middle and I’m sorry for that. But I wasn’t me running raids and got caught up in it almost daily if Seeker’s Vista has a WQ”.

Outside some random Tortollan raids and Assaults I don’t see much Horde around… I really don’t feel the need to have more bonus just to kill a guy and call the flight master.
It’s really rare running into a full pack of Horde. You sometimes find sparse horde single guys like you, but they often leave you alone… I’d like that horde have 30% too…
I don’t find the situation unbalanced.

Yet while levelling pre BfA I rarely see a Horde and when I levelled my Paladin to 120 I got killed total of three times during my journey from 110-120 which is also so much faster with the buff.

I do actually have a lot more time for the buff existing for both sides during levelling. Although I don’t think it’s common, we do see posts from people who are getting ganked trying to level.

Probably didn’t intended this camping fly masters and quest area’s but that is what is happening. I don’t really understand why so many alliance kepts complaining about being dominated. I always was outnumber on every wq i went. I maybe was unlucky but i didn’t give up. But this 30% buff is now getting insane.
Just logged in to found every single city and quest area camped by ally players, every singly region. Join a group to swap realms and it was the same story. They camp with big groups so they complete the quest and then run off. This is sad what they do and sad that blizzard didn’t see this comming.
A good way to balance things out is to remove any racials, any kind of buff that gives any side some advantage. Then things will balance out eventually.
But buffing one side will lead to unbalance and turn the tables for the other side to be buffed again wich will lead to a new wave of complaines.

Ah yes its so fair , the 1 or 2 active rp realms outnumber the horde. better change the buff and ignore every single other server on wich the hord epretty much dominates

Ahem. If you had read what I said, and not what you -think- I said, I suggested that the buff be balanced by what Warmode Shard you are in. So the six or eight RP Realms are balanced by which Faction is dominant in numbers, because they are in the same Warmode, the other Realms are balanced by which faction is dominant in numbers, because they are in the same warmode…

Its not that tricky.

a r e …u…(putting a nasty word)…More alliance to kill ? funny…When you take a FP and there is 30+ aliance camping the FP ? think…alliance scum

Just make warmode for all the same with no option to turn it off ^^ That’s a real war

One way to look at it is this:

The only time it takes “longer” to complete world quests is if you end up in the “wrong” shard and there’s a raid group of the opposite faction. So no, claiming that you should get a 30% warmode buff “because it takes longer” is just nonsense. Sometimes when I’m doing WQs on my horde character I get in a shard with tons of alliance players and sometimes there are none. When I’m playing on my alliance character the same thing applies. Sometimes I get in a shard with a ton of Horde players and sometimes there are none.

The warmode buff is simply unfair because players who can’t handle warmode cried too much about it. It’s very strange how Alliance players learned about premade groups once 8.1 hit and you got the warmode buff.

You also get a piece of 400 ilvl gear each week and calling that unfair doesn’t even cut it. Alliance can simply create a 5-man group and kill 25 horde players by either camping a flightmaster or killing them during an invasion to get BoD heroic loot (and yes they can get ilvl 400 azerite piece). No need to do heroic raid to get the loot.

Do you have any evidence of this, not just a feeling.

Untrue. People are complaining about the iLvl 400 loot only one faction can get.

I’m confused and probably a little bit dumb :sob::sob::sob: but why a 400 ilvl on a scale of 415/425 makes such a fuss and a 370 on a scale of 395 was kinda hated but accepted? 400 ilvl… aha… and? Getting loot before you? Is this all about? In a month people who’ve been farming heroics will be fully 400… so what is the fuss all about?
