Old version of wow is better still than current one

Well, that’s a Hot take if i ever saw one.

It’s incredibly fun in wotlk, Especially if you enchant heirlooms and play a melee.

Wish retail had more stuff like that.

I refuse to raid retail until they simplify raids A LOT

Also, WOTLK affliction is far superior to retail affliction.

Only classic players keep the wow popular tho. Half if not more of the active subscribtions are from classic players right now. Judging by the servers popularity. Also, streamers promoting the game, only play classic. We got no active streamer play retail atm. Wow on twitch will be abandoned without classic players.

So you guys should appreciate we still exist. Retail supporters are just a very small minority from wow player base.

What are you basing this on though? Considering that the Classic realms, both versions, don’t even add up to half of the available realms on EU retail, how can you tell that more players are playing Classic than retail?

Assuming that all Classic realms are full but only half of Retail ones are full then the Retail population still exceeds the Classic population.

Until and unless Blizzard release actual numbers this is pure speculation and to state a very small minority is just silly.

Edit: Another quick look at the realm status there are three locked realms for Classic and three full realms for Class:Wrath. There are twenty full realms for Retail.

Except that not everyone wants new content. There was a huge fight for no changes. If you want to discuss with the Classic community and propose changes they have a whole forum for that.

There is interest in a new Season of Mastery and we have to wait and see what Blizzard decide to do.

Retail does not leech from anything and vice versa.

Guys, just accept the fact that DF have very low subscribtion numbers. Sales were very bad and meanwhile people left even more. There’s a reason people are not playing anymore. They dont like how wow become. People even preffer to play the 2004 version of it that have zero updates. That’s crazy.

Blizzard needs to listen more to the true player base. That’s where the big money and true loyality is. Players that supports wow modern direction, are just a very small minority out of the wow base players. You guys just seem more vocal because you’re the only ones that are left here. Majority of the players base left or are on the classic servers/private servers because they dont like how wow become.

Then I hope they never simplify raids if it means keeping inept boomers like you away. Also, keep dreaming about wotlk aff being better.

And other people prefer playing the modern wow instead of 2004 version. Your argument is as slow as your thought process. Don’t forget to close the door on the way out snowflake.

Who exactly is this “true” playerbase and since when are you the autority on what is a minority or not? Clueless people like you really rub me the wrong way when they try to justify that THEIR prefereneces are better and tell people what to and do not play.

There are people who prefer classic and those who prefer retail. Go play what you enjoy and stop posting useless crap you attention seeker.

If, and it’s very big if, your baseless assumptions are correct then Blizzard will make retail more like Classic as that is obviously what is drawing people in.

The sheer fact that Retail isn’t more like Classic would lead to the logical conclusion that there aren’t in fact more people playing Classic than playing Retail.

Nah his ego is too big to even begin considering that not everyone shares his opinion.

that’s what it seems they tried with DF. That’s why its the first decent expansion after a while. But the old expansions damage is already done. So it will be a bit hard. Also, they need to make more changes about it. In DF they did well overall, but not enough to reverse the damage. People that left lost faith. Its a good direction tho.

That is just a fact,

It’s so much worse on retail.

I’ll just get my gear through M+, Not a big deal.

There is no reasoning with people who insist their game is better than your game. It’s all World of Warcraft, let people play the version they enjoy without having to have others try to spoil it for them.

These wild claims with no data backing them up are always going to keep coming. I just don’t understand why they have to troll the Retail forums. Maybe they should just go play more Classic.

And who exactly made you the authority on which is better and not.? It’s your opinion and not a fact. And i would not trust the opinion of someone posting from a lvl18 classic toon talking nonsense

We really need proper forum accounts with account names…

Because people take such offense that i want to use this one as my forum avatar.

Honestly this is all opinions and people have been moaning about aspects of wow since bc.

DF was never going to sell as well as older expansions because the good will from legion has finally dried up. People will skip DF and if they return at all it’ll be having seen if blizzard can keep its promises for the entire expansion. Given we have this ring after one patch, I’m not confident that the good will needed to make 11.0 a hit exists.

Maybe they expect a better chance for a blue post from Blizz to acknowledge their matters, but unfortunately, they rarely come here, mainly for moderating from what I’ve seen.

Say, I mainly dislike the no RDF policy about Wrath (the prime reason I stopped playing it - I can’t advance my characters in the manner I want to) and I could more than contradict their point about “a sense of community and interaction” with ease. But I take that to the Wrath forums and I’m being vocal there, bumping the threads that pop up about it.

Of course I could explain it to you as well, should you be interested, or anybody else who asks for it.

Not offended in any way but your choice of forum avatar says it all.

You just seem a bit unhinged, so don’t want to you to stalk and harass an actual ingame name of mine, That is all.

Just a precaution against crazy stalkers.
