Onyxia got killed by a 4 Player group

So it seems the first classic raid was now cleared by a four player group. Being the final nail in the classic raids were harder myth.

Will we see Mc next ? Or was Onyxia a exception ?

Fight lasted 56:09 minutes

Group : mm hunter , heal priest , heal priest , tank warrior

Also one player died to cleave

It was done by a 3 player group in original vanilla

I’d wager it can be 2 manned, just takes longer…
Perhaps maybe, there is one…
Dragonslayer out there… The greatest Tank paladin in the land. One with the highest armors & the bestest of heals…
Capable of soloing Onyxia

But guise, if they 4 manned it… and more than 4 pieces of loot dropped… what a waste of loot if u ask me

no one in their right mind has ever called classic difficult. it’s just slower paced and lacks mechanics. AQ40 can be done with 20-30 decent players, naxx probably 30. The difficulty in vanilla is staying awake or not quitting before you reach level 60 to start playing the game, which is also the barrier against wow getting more players.

LFR is harder than vanilla.

Enchanters would argue about that

here is your M+ in classic

We had ppl killing Onyxia 2 men in my Vanilla server, not impressed.

A druid can solo it in quest greens, not impressed:p

Vanilla and Classic PvE are a meme.

The difficulty is between LFR and normal mode in Retail.

Nothing new.

Stockpill consumables and world buff and rollface everything.

Where did you hear this myth?

Edit: You shouldnt be angry about claims that were never claimed

It was not vanilla, it was prepatch tbc 2.0, why else do you see him using devastate? An ability that exists in tbc talent tree.

The “classic is harder than retail” arguement died two weeks after launch.

It’s a different game for different people, it’s certainly not harder though.

No one says that. It was always “levelling was harder”

When vanilla was young the classes werent as powerful as they are now as classic gave all the class overhauls from the start. Plus many other changes which made content easier were there from the start.

Onyxia/MC are adaptation raids, that are relatively easy, specially considering the patch that we are playing. BWL will probably cause some headaches to no harcore guilds. AQ40 and NAXX will test the capacity of the same no hardcore guilds to find a a core of 20/30 very competent players, otherwise they will be stuck in some bosses for weeks.
For hardcore guilds, specially for the ones made in pservers, as expected, the content won’t be challenging, as it wouldn’t be for retail heroic or mythic raids, if they were played by fifteen years. Yes, they require more learnign about timings, to a point that it gets boring and reflexes to dodge the arcade mechanics, but the emphasis of vanilla raids was in the capacity to gather and organize 30/40 people with a common goal for a long period of time, the mechanics were a secondary thing.

Because imagining people believing that makes you feel better about them not enjoying the game you do?

Why else would you make odd rationalisations for events that have never occurred?
