Onyxia, MC cleared, You may just release NAXX; Absolute failure of the "true" vanilla experience and how to fix it

Esport is okay as long as it wont become core of the game (mmorpg wise). If we had polished WoW, with great pve and pvp content, additionally some sort of esport oriented pvp arena content… it would just help the game. World first raids ? Why should we care if its a thing ? You can basically make sport from everything, cant change peoples mindset.

#nochanges?

I hope they don’t hear you out.

It’s a recreation of the original for real fans, not a new expansion for the e-sport fanatics.

No thanks, just cus a bunch of experienced nerds managed to clear it doesn’t mean they should completely rewrite the entire experience for everyone else.

The game will be fine for us average joes. I’m happy with how things are now and will carry on playing at my own pace.

They are objectively easier than they were back then because we started with 1.12 talent trees and itemization.
I’m not talking about mechanical difficulty, I’m referring tho how strong mobs are compared to how strong the player characters are. Unless you started playing very late into Classic you really aren’t getting the same experience as you did back then in terms of difficulty.

Running patch 1.12 as well as the layering was a big misstake.

MC was cleared way before 1.12. So yeah, now its only Nax that matters. As the name of 1.12 originally stated.

What? No. Classic was easy as hell pve wise, deal with it. It’s what made it beautiful, you could raid with your mom if you wanted. Everyone is capable of doing a 1 button rotation.

So nobody should ever talk to you then. /thread

Never played vanilla then

you clown I was purchasing blizzard goods since D2 and WC2/WC3 back when games were decent

I will just copy and paste a message I’ve posted in another thread as well. But on the side, Blizzard isn’t turning Classic into an e-sport. All those e-sport guilds are, like Method and so forth. People who just want to turn Classic in yet another part of their accomplishments. Personally, I hate this is happening but that is the sad reality with people nowadays, is that they want to turn everything in a competition. But I won’t let it bother me. I’ll just do it my way.

Classic is all about teamwork. APES started together, grinding out every quest in groups from what I understood. They leveled through grinding xp and dungeons. I don’t know how to got to 60 that fast. But I know they worked together. That made it easy for them.

I wouldn’t neccesarily say Classic is easier, people have the knowledge now that they didn’t have back then. Raids are going to fall because there’s video footage all over the internet of every single raid boss in existence.

I’m glad for them they achieved their goal. But on a personal note, it isn’t how I would play Classic, ever. Why? Because I want to enjoy myself and take my time. This is just another accomplishment to their long row of raid achievements, and they probably don’t even care about Classic but rather the accomplishment and if that’s how they want to play the game, let them.

Sorry! Didn’t read your rant, but just the title … and you are wrong. We play 1.12v of Vanilla. Please educate yourself first before making posts like this.
