Arguably the Scarlets really shouldn’t still exist. I get it. “Can’t kill an ideology” and all but let’s be frank. They’ve been massacred to the last man enough times that even a regular Joe should be going “Yeah maybe I avoid this”. Not to mention. We just got out of a devastating war that left us so stripped of men. A war in which the Death Knights loyal to the Alliance participated and did their fair share. Just like they’ve done ever since their induction into the Alliance. Ren’dorei? Sure, you can reasonably argue that some resentment would still be felt but at this point the DK have been here so long it’d be ludicrous to NOT recognise them. It’d be like rioting against the Draenei.
The creation of the Defias, yes. Who then got slaughtered to a man not once but twice. As direct retribution for what they did. Not to mention the aforementioned banning of Riots. Considering the fragile state of Stormwind right now you don’t think this is precisely the sort of the thing the S.I would nip in the bud long before it ever picked up steam (ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT’S BEING ADVERTISED ON FLIERS), and even assuming they didn’t immediately just get merked by any typical guard force/any given group of mages.

Let’s be frank. This Riot is a Belarus allegory. You’ll do it on level 1 alts like usual; have them act like irredeemable vile people, you’ll play out scenes of protesters being suppressed and all to make it “lmao Alliance bad” just like every other Riot this group plans.

Aside from a bad faith actor, curious to see what sort of characters people are planning to bring to the Riot. I’ll likely be there on my Ratter, if they end up getting involved in any way.

I disagree with it both from a lore perspective and also an OOC one.
The riot is not organised just a protest. No mention of riot in the original post but sometimes things evolve. To be honest i also think riots are banned all across the world IRL (Sorry) but the still occur when the civilian people feel they are not being listened to or something sparks the riot.
