Daggerfall Covenant is the coolest and most functional faction in the lore
honestly you see 0 of it if you’re not in one specific building in Ul’dah.
basically 0 impact outside of PvP so keep that in mind.
i.e pick the 1 with the coolest name
i really like altmer, ayrenn is the worst
Ebonheart Pact is based because their faction leader is really just a puppet for Almalexia which is a good thing, actually, and epically owns the Nords while at it

Even then unless you change the default option your team in PvP is random anyway for the fastest possible queue, it really only affects certain tmog and titles as well as your grand company standing. But I’ve barely touched all of that.
