The seventh rastari cohort were given a surprise visit by a raptari scout who sent word from Zebā€™hari. The village was under attack by the naga!

The cohort rode down to Zebā€™ahari with waste and gave the naga raiders a proper Zandalari welcome.

The Seventh Rastari Cohort and Chosen of Draenor set out to the Barrens to see what was the commotion on the food supply and the hearing of farms being raided only to find that the Cult of the Damned has risen the dead back to life to fight against the living.

It comes to no surprise that both groups vanquished their enemies, leaving corpses to burn and victory upon there return.

Thank you Chosen of Draenor, it was a pleasure to do the even alongside you, hope we do it again.

Strange reports from the tortollan near Kimbulā€™s temple arrived at Dazarā€™alor but then suddenly stopped for an uncomfortable length of time. Therefor the seventh rastari cohort were tasked with finding the tortollans and securing the loaā€™s temple.

The cohort discover that the tortollanā€™s nearby camp was left deserted, scattered in a wreckage. They wasted no time searching further and continued to their top priority, Kimbulā€™s temple. Along the way, they were ambushed by spiders that were raised into undeath, followed by actual ghouls!

The Scourge shambled through the thicket and so the Painted Shields ran with haste to beat them to the steps of the temple, holding their ground against the incoming horde of undead.

The Painted Shields were victorious but left wondering how the Scourge even arrived at Zandalar? Until they discovered how and were able to put a stop to it, Tetrarch Kezuga personally ordered the cohort to never speak of this to anyoneā€¦

Another promotion event, another generation of new Shieldmons. And so their chapter begins as properly initiated soldiers of the 7th Rastari Cohort.

Weā€™ve been in Zandalar for a while, keeping the RP scene in Dazarā€™alor fresh, doing guild events around the island and getting involved in some really interesting RP such as the recent trial of Makona.

We are confident that Zandalar will do fine without the cohort as we sail to Kalimdor to help our allies in the Horde. Catch us in Orgrimmar if you wish to join before we try to catch you first.

Zandalar forever!

The Painted Shields sailed to the Echo Isles where they were welcomed into the Darkspearā€™s hospitality for the night. The next day they received a letter from Sergeant of the Thirteenth Legion, asking for any available forces to help defend Razor Hill.

They arrived at Razor Hill and the undead did not delay their attack a moment sooner. Within moments, Razor Hill was being attacked from all sidesā€¦

Weā€™ve had a great bunch of events with our PCU brethren and others while in Razor Hill and a lot has transpired for the attendants and the Painted Shields too during and after each event. Interesting plot stuff!

Weā€™ll be wrapping up our roleplay in Razor Hill with a big olā€™ event with other Horde guilds, just in time for the release of Shadowlands and after that, there is bound to be a little hiatus from roleplay.

Our doors are always open for recruitment and we sure like to stay in touch to enjoy this expansion together and when the time comes, we will regroup to continue guild RP.

Zandalar forever!

One full year I have been here and still going! Could have given my high recommendations ages ago, but to put it simplyā€¦ If youā€™re a troll and like some epic RP (and also donā€™t mind gold) then you know where to go.

How long has it been? What? A new expansion released recently?

Of courseā€¦

The Painted Shields has taken a week off from roleplay to ride out the hype train of Shadowlandsā€™ release, followed by doing mythic dungeons as a guild (half-way until we complete them all).

But weā€™ve missed our roleplay so starting from Tuesday, the seventh rastari cohort will be giving the old RP engine a kick and continue business as normal. You can find us in Dazarā€™alor!

A call for aid came from the Temple of Akunda to the Empireā€™s forces after a blessed sceptre was stolen from them, and the Seventh Rastari Cohort were sent to answer.

After having arrived at the temple and being briefed by a Priestess of the Loa, the Rastari set out into the nearby oasis where they eventually found a lead. A set of wet footprints leading upwards to a nearby Pterrodax nest, but after following the trail the Empireā€™s soldiers found little Pterrodaxes and instead a group of wounded Sethrak lying about the nest, no clues as to their allegiance on their person.

They questioned the Sethrak for several minutes, before the two groups finally made a deal: The Rastari tended to the Sethrakā€™s wounds, and in thanks were lead into the ruins where the snake-men were camped. After a brief talk with the Sethrakā€™s commander, the Cohort was reluctantly allowed to search through said ruins.

And that search proved fruitful quite quickly, with the Unpainted Rajazan uncovering the holy sceptre of Akunda from under a stone-slab. And within an instant, the commander drew his blade, revealing the true allegiance of his forces: Faithless, loyal to Korthekā€™s legacy. A short battle ensued, one that ended with the Rastari victorious, the sceptre in their possession, and the Sethrak commander left to rot in the ruins with his injuries after a failed attempt at using the blessed item.

An unknown vessel out found its way in the river between Nazmir and Zuldazar, and the seventh rastari cohort were sent to search for it in-land.

They eventually came across Ashvane goons that were trying to make a fortune from pilfering the Rootway Collapse.
