Pests of many kinds lurk within the Port of Zandalar, and recently the Seventh Rastari Cohort had to deal with a great number of them all on one night. First it was pesky saurid running around with food and stolen goods in their mouths, forcing the Rastari soldiers to chase them all around the Taste of Zandalar.
Next were a gang of petty vagrants who attempted to steal scrolls and trinkets from Tortollans within Little Tortolla. But thanks to the efforts of the Seventhās soldiers, the Vagrantsā attempts did not get far.
And lastly it was a large group of Hozen stealing eggs from the Steamway, and wares from the merchants. The Rastari Cohortās fight against these pests in specific lead them down onto a beach, where they found heaps of eggs and stolen items being sent off in canoes by Hozen. And while one boat was able to escape with its wares, three more were kept on land, and their contents being returned to the rightful owners.
For the love of Loa, join the Seventh Cohort and fight for the Empire and Queen Talanji and you might be graced with sparring with Ashātani which is rather a rare sight and occurrence.
Nothing is stopping you from serving the Troll Empire!
Reports of activity at the lonely troll ruins within Hillsbrad Foothills have been reported and as the caretakers of the trollās ancient history and culture, the Zandalari sent the seventh rastari cohort to check it out.
They met Crushridge ogres who claimed the old ruins as their new home, for they were chased out of their old home by āzombiesā in their words. While the Painted Shields tried to negotiate with these ogres, the two parties were surprised by the arrival of Sylvanasā loyalists, the Rotgarde.
The trolls and the ogres teamed up against a common enemy.
The Seventh Rastari Cohort and Chosen of Draenor set out to the Barrens to see what was the commotion on the food supply and the hearing of farms being raided only to find that the Cult of the Damned has risen the dead back to life to fight against the living.
It comes to no surprise that both groups vanquished their enemies, leaving corpses to burn and victory upon there return.
Thank you Chosen of Draenor, it was a pleasure to do the even alongside you, hope we do it again.
Strange reports from the tortollan near Kimbulās temple arrived at Dazarāalor but then suddenly stopped for an uncomfortable length of time. Therefor the seventh rastari cohort were tasked with finding the tortollans and securing the loaās temple.
The cohort discover that the tortollanās nearby camp was left deserted, scattered in a wreckage. They wasted no time searching further and continued to their top priority, Kimbulās temple. Along the way, they were ambushed by spiders that were raised into undeath, followed by actual ghouls!
The Scourge shambled through the thicket and so the Painted Shields ran with haste to beat them to the steps of the temple, holding their ground against the incoming horde of undead.
The Painted Shields were victorious but left wondering how the Scourge even arrived at Zandalar? Until they discovered how and were able to put a stop to it, Tetrarch Kezuga personally ordered the cohort to never speak of this to anyoneā¦
Another promotion event, another generation of new Shieldmons. And so their chapter begins as properly initiated soldiers of the 7th Rastari Cohort.
Weāve been in Zandalar for a while, keeping the RP scene in Dazarāalor fresh, doing guild events around the island and getting involved in some really interesting RP such as the recent trial of Makona.
We are confident that Zandalar will do fine without the cohort as we sail to Kalimdor to help our allies in the Horde. Catch us in Orgrimmar if you wish to join before we try to catch you first.
The Painted Shields sailed to the Echo Isles where they were welcomed into the Darkspearās hospitality for the night. The next day they received a letter from Sergeant of the Thirteenth Legion, asking for any available forces to help defend Razor Hill.
They arrived at Razor Hill and the undead did not delay their attack a moment sooner. Within moments, Razor Hill was being attacked from all sidesā¦
Weāve had a great bunch of events with our PCU brethren and others while in Razor Hill and a lot has transpired for the attendants and the Painted Shields too during and after each event. Interesting plot stuff!
Weāll be wrapping up our roleplay in Razor Hill with a big olā event with other Horde guilds, just in time for the release of Shadowlands and after that, there is bound to be a little hiatus from roleplay.
Our doors are always open for recruitment and we sure like to stay in touch to enjoy this expansion together and when the time comes, we will regroup to continue guild RP.
One full year I have been here and still going! Could have given my high recommendations ages ago, but to put it simplyā¦ If youāre a troll and like some epic RP (and also donāt mind gold) then you know where to go.
How long has it been? What? A new expansion released recently?
Of courseā¦
The Painted Shields has taken a week off from roleplay to ride out the hype train of Shadowlandsā release, followed by doing mythic dungeons as a guild (half-way until we complete them all).
But weāve missed our roleplay so starting from Tuesday, the seventh rastari cohort will be giving the old RP engine a kick and continue business as normal. You can find us in Dazarāalor!
Kezuga mon, yah be takinā moā time off again! tsk tskā¦ Tāzali be no happy wid chaā¦ love this guild, theyāve come a long way under great leadership and members, look forward to fighting them in the future once more! they do have a lot of gold to loseā¦
