A call for aid came from the Temple of Akunda to the Empireās forces after a blessed sceptre was stolen from them, and the Seventh Rastari Cohort were sent to answer.
After having arrived at the temple and being briefed by a Priestess of the Loa, the Rastari set out into the nearby oasis where they eventually found a lead. A set of wet footprints leading upwards to a nearby Pterrodax nest, but after following the trail the Empireās soldiers found little Pterrodaxes and instead a group of wounded Sethrak lying about the nest, no clues as to their allegiance on their person.
They questioned the Sethrak for several minutes, before the two groups finally made a deal: The Rastari tended to the Sethrakās wounds, and in thanks were lead into the ruins where the snake-men were camped. After a brief talk with the Sethrakās commander, the Cohort was reluctantly allowed to search through said ruins.
And that search proved fruitful quite quickly, with the Unpainted Rajazan uncovering the holy sceptre of Akunda from under a stone-slab. And within an instant, the commander drew his blade, revealing the true allegiance of his forces: Faithless, loyal to Korthekās legacy. A short battle ensued, one that ended with the Rastari victorious, the sceptre in their possession, and the Sethrak commander left to rot in the ruins with his injuries after a failed attempt at using the blessed item.
The Eternal Sisterhood came to the seventh rastari cohort with a call for aid. The the two met up at the Temple of Falāadorah in Suramar and with their combined strength, they marched into the deepest depths of the ruins of Suramar to quell a growing threat of Felborne shalādorei.
Well after the big PCU Christmas event, the Painted Shields have been chilling in Dazarāalor or patrolling the Golden City. We have also recruited some new bloods but weāre still going with our plans to tune out of roleplay for a short while to celebrate the holidays.
Business continues as normal after Christmas has passed!
Genuinely have had so many great memories with these fine lads over the past year and so, and canāt imagine playing WoW without em. Canāt really say much more than that without sounding like Iāve entered full-shill mode, so letās just hope for more great times and all of that stuff in the new year.
The seventh rastari cohort were given a delicate task to act as protectors of a diplomatic meeting in Arathi Highlands between the Horde, the Alliance and the Witherbark Tribe. After the Fourth War, none had the manpower or resources to suffer conflict between each other.
The Painted Shields arrived at the aftermath of a massacre instead, as ogres were busy looting the bodies of headless Witherbark trolls but were then chased away by the Zandalari. While searching through the bodies, they also found diplomats from the Horde who also laid dead and headless too while the Alliance diplomat was nowhere to be found.
They tracked down the ogres who claimed were not responsible for what happened and merely came by to loot the bodies that āthe ridersā left behind. The ogres pointed them the way and the Painted Shields went to track them down through the highlands which remained perilous, as they were ambushed by The Syndicate during their trek.
The Alliance diplomat was taken back to Hammerfall and the next day, he reluctantly agreed to a plan to act as bait to draw out the leader of the Arathor extremists, Jannin Forgouth.
The diplomat moved far ahead of the seventh rastari cohort who followed the human. Along the way, they were intercepted by The Syndicate and almost lost the diplomat but were quick to come to his rescue and continued as planned.
The diplomat arrived at the main road and was confronted by a patrol that served Jannin and accused the diplomat of being a traitor as the Painted Shields came running in to ambush the patrol. It was a brutal scuffle as only one Arathor was left alive at the end and was interrogated until she gave away Janninās location.
Finally, the Painted Shields confronted Jannin himself who still wasnāt going to give up his āsportā for an armistice or any of the Zandalari that stood before him. The human fought valiantly against his ancient enemy but the Zandalariās magic and might overwhelmed him, and before he was finished off, Alliance reinforcements arrived to take Jannin into custody.
And with that, crisis was avoided and no blood was spilled any further.
This week has been a busy one so far. We attended a big olā RP-PVP event with our fellow PCU guilds, Assemblage of Uld, Red Venturers, Dirge of Teldrassil, Sunnyglade Ratters and Chosen of Draenor, with a follow-up event on the next day that involved a lot of people NPCing as undead. Very cinematic stuff.
Right now, weāve arrived at Desolace which will be the staging ground for the Rushāai Pilgrimage. You can check out information about the event and the community that is hosting it, the Terrace of Tribes, on this very link below.
