You can “assure” a lot of things but if a lot of enterprises are willing to pay streamers is due to something.
Asmongold speaks for himself and his community. The community CHOSE to be his community, I just cant tell what is so wrong about that.
“Supports Witch hunting” because he said hes gonna go report multiboxers when multiboxing is illegal? (I know this for the other forum post)
Its exaggerated if you didnt get it.
There is nothing wrong in reporting people who are clearly doing a bannable offense.
In case they re not but they just seem like it, blizzard is the one who has to know. (Yes, putting /follow on 5 characters is allowed but a player cant know it.
You say there 1000 people willing to protect him but at the same time you deny the existence of just 3 people trying to kill him. Isnt it weird?
Yes, I think you exaggerated but 1000 is a number that could be real for him =)
Moving 1000 people to a zone doesnt impact the game in a bad way btw. Whats the bad part about it? I really dont know.
Saying hes “boring” or that he has no charisma is totally subjective. A lot of people think the opposite.
His chat is probably bad of course, just because the amount of people watching the stream. How are you supposed to control 40k people?
Who knows, maybe even you commented on his stream once, making yourself part of the “bad chat”.
Even if he grew out of drama, I really dont see whats bad about it. You still have to be entertaining and interesting for it. If it were so easy there would be thousands of people doing it, sadly its not.
“Encouraging to harass people” seems like something completely out of context. If it is true, twitch would have banned him for some time at least =)
This is basicaly tl;dr of every single topic where any streamer gets mentioned.
People have this gigantic urge to go and let you know how much they dont care and how much they dont watch them.
For example…the very first response in this topic.
I didnt ment it like that. Youre obviously on the other side of the fence. But you just accidentaly wroted the most “cliche” response these topics get. Thats all. Its a quote to save my time typing.
Well, some of the things the dear Asmond does and say are not Twitch related, so it’s not up to them.
But he did encourage players to /spit on storebought mounts and the charity pet Dottie.
While that in itself isn’t bannable, it does create a very bad atmosphere amongst players - it isn’t helpful to the community.
And WoW does suffer from a bad reputation, so it doesn’t need anymore of this.
I do wonder what it feels like to run past a group of people and get 200 /spit on you, because a streamer and friends you didn’t know was around and had decided that this is the way to act.
But why does streamers have a bad reputation on this forum you ask.
I think Thodric gave a very good answer to that.
But a lot does like them too, it’s just because you have taken notice to something, so you don’t see a lot like them too.
Others have had first hand experince with them, good or bad - those who have bad will obviously be more vocal.
I wonder if he is actually an anti semitic racist homophobe with an extremely low opinion of women, or whether it is just the drones he drags with him to invade RP realms that are?
I know - it was just an example in order to make a post that had a red thread in order to not create a full on hate thread, when that wasn’t my intention
Oh yeah, totally, fair fair. I think everyone knows some of his goons are the sort of people who would need some percussive maintenance to the head, not all, but enough to be a problem…
I hate them as a result of basically every streamer getting away with breaking game rules and twitch rules consistently especially in regards to RP disruption, harassment, and targetting hate at people. shrug
Streamers want to get less flak? Then the good ones should make sure the platform is being held to the rules, and especially to the rules of online games they play in. So far, none of the good streamers have done anything to help solve the problems.
So they disrupted your rp once or twice but they help a lot of people to get through the day and put a smile on their faces when they need it the most. What do you say about that? How many times did they crash your rp realm tho. Awful streamers!!!
As far as i know, threatening others on the forum is a good way to stop yourself from posting. You are nothing more special than anyone else here, as much as u can express your hate towards said streamers, people can also defend them in a very similar way.
We are both in the same shoes here, you are nothing more special than anyone here.
You can express your hate towards a streamer in a mean way,
People can defend the said streamer in a mean way towards u aswell
U get what u give
