People seem to be down on TBC?

No, you just think you do. Maybe if you actually gave the game a try today you’d find out if you actually do. Otherwise you’re just another JAB, who said crap like that while not even remembering UBRS was turned down to 10man long before 1.12.

Vanilla felt more “cohesive” to me (for want of a better word). Lack of flying made the world seem bigger, and everything (short of maybe AQ) kept within that fantasy aesthetic that I kinda expected from a Warcraft game.

I also liked that specs/classes weren’t completely balanced and catered more to class fantasy (and maybe support roles) than the need to be considered competitive.

If I’m being honest with myself then TBC was the better game. Raids were better (overall anyway), PvP was more fleshed out, I just didn’t like Outland as much.

I remember liking Vanilla. And I did
I remember not liking TBC. I’m sure I wont

Yeah sure - like all those ppl who, just one year before launch, preached on Twitter, Youtube, Battlenet forums, Reddit etc. about how bad was Classic and how they’d never like it despite having touched it since 2006. We saw how that turned out.

Just because those people seemed to like Classic anyways, doesnt mean I’m going to like TBC?
I don’t even want to try it out

At least those people had the gall of giving their own memories the benefit of doubt, unlike you

Lol, this conversation has gone weird. I don’t know why you care so much about what I like and have to like

I don’t care, as I’ve said before. But at least read up next time before saying something stupid about a game you don’t really remember

Why? I do remember.
I don’t like the idea of daily quests

It’s a boring game with little to do. BG’s are not worth because of arenas. (I do like arenas though. 2 continents just being unused and makes exploration dead. The new zones are boring because of flying mounts.
But atleast I can do my dailies

You don’t remember wth dailies were about in TBC as opposed to WotLK and later. And saying “I don’t like the idea of daily quests” without even remembering that is like saying, I dunno, “I hate the idea of rep grinds” in regards to Classic, basing your own opinion on BFA and how rep grinds work there.

Yeah because Classic has so much content to do instead at 60

Own opinion, yes! That is exactly what is it.
If I want to do a reputation, let me do it at my own pace.

Exploration in a world that is alive is a big part for me, yes

What is there to explore, exactly? And what is there to explore that you can’t also explore in TBC or WotLK?

Player vs player in open world.
Flying mounts ruined that for me. People can escape too easily

Ah so the “explore” part was another thinly-veiled WPvP rant? Well I play on a PvE server so you can tell how much I care about it, but at least I can understand it must hurt a ganker to be unable to corpse-camp other players anymore.

No rant? And why do you assume I corpse camp? I like finding 1v1’s and 1v2’s.
So you enjoy playing on a PvE realm - I enjoy playing on a PvP realm. People enjoy different stuff. Weird isnt it?

Return of Arenas, Resilience, CCs that don’t last an hour. I can’t wait for TBC actually

Why would you care about how easily a char escapes if you don’t intend to kill them again? It’s not like they can “easily” escape the first time, since they’re prolly on the ground farming/questing and (1) flying mounts have a 3-sec casting time and (2) you can’t use them in combat
