And again, nobody forces you to. I mean, I hate Wintersaber faction and how painfully slow it is, but it’s just a mount reward so nobody forces me to do it. Why would I reject an entire expansion over something as inconsequential as that?
No, you’ve said that once. I gave you my two reason why I don’t like daily quests.
Apparantly because you like it, I have to aswell, or?
It’s a timegate and it “forces” people to login to keep up
I never said you “have” to like dailies.
I’m just saying that saying “I don’t want TBC because of dailies” is as stupid as saying “I don’t want Classic because of Wintersaber Trainers”
It’s not like it is the only reason lol
No but it’s still a pretty stupid reason.
It sounds like people are used to how daily content works in Modern WoW and assume that, just because there are dailies in TBC, it must suck just as much.
And it’s not even just dailies. Flying, arenas, heroics, raids, etc. Everything that exists in Modern/Retail, people assume that it’s exactly the same in TBC. Many of these ppl dissing the game don’t even remember or have played it, just as you proved a while before. Heck, many of the criticism I’ve read here and in other threads is about stuff that wasn’t even in TBC to begin with, such as homogeneization of classes and whatnot!
I look forward to see how many of you will go back on their silly “rose-tinted criticism” once the game actually comes out.
I’m not comparing with modern WoW.
Daily quests was a bad function to make people log in every day. They should have gone other routes.
I did not like TBC back then either
Maybe you would’ve liked it if you actually played it
I did?
10 chars
If you did (and remembered the experience well enough) you would have remembered daily reps like Ogri’la and Skyguard didn’t give out any epics besides mounts
2 of them, yeah. The 5 others did (Cannot remember how many)
I don’t know how legit they were. But that is not my point
Which 5 are you even talking about? If you mean Thrallmar/Honor Hold, Cenarion Expedition, Keepers of Time, Lower City and Sha’tar, there were no daily quests associated with these factions.
The only other faction associated with daily quests that I’ve not mentioned yet is Netherwing, and that still did not give you any epic item besides the mount.
Thank you again for proving that you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Haha, I did not remember that.
However, as I said, that is not my point
Your point would be taken more seriously if you gave any reason to believe you even remember the game to begin with. You sound like somebody who, at best, hasn’t touched the game in 12 years and is basing their opinions on hazy, flawed or outright false memories.
Yeah, I remember I did not like it.
You seem really sensitive about people not liking TBC?
I’m sensitive about people criticizing TBC while proving they don’t even remember it to begin with.
I can understand if I read something like, say, “I hate TBC because I didn’t like how Karazhan being a 10-man raid and Gruul/Maggy being 25-man screwed up progression and caused a buttload of drama in our guild”.
But when I read people saying stuff like “I hate TBC because I had to do dailies (thinking said dailies were for rep factions giving epic items) to keep up”, or “I hate TBC because of how it gave druids a normal Resurrection and homogeneized classes like that”, or “I hate TBC because it ruined Windfury Totem by making it give only %haste” and other stuff that is simply false, it does get on my nerves yes. I never liked people who talk without knowing wth they’re talking about.
I might not be able to remember every single specific item.
I remember not liking it overall, and I am telling you the reasons I did not like it on the top of my head.
Daily quests are boring and dull. A bad excuse to make people log in every day
Yes, just like people who, about Classic, said “You think you do, but you don’t”. They think they remember, but they don’t.
I did however
You did what? Remember it? Yeah we all saw how damn well you do.
I thought I did, and I did?
