In SWTOR, the companion I can bring with me usually lets me do the rather tough Heroic missions solo in a sense. I don’t need to party up for them which I find refreshing because I prefer questing at my own pace in MMO’s so having a useful NPC companion help out (and to easily switch between tank-dps-heal for them) makes it much more enjoyable. I’m one of those weirdos who prefers to play MMO’s mostly alone.
Got around to watching Konosuba. The most consistently funny show I’ve watched in months, feels good.
I got back to reading Attack on Titan recently myself, since the story had a lot of ups and downs, but has now found it’s course again. So been a pretty enjoyable character driven read again now.
I’m up to date on the manga, and honestly I’ve never noticed any downs. I’ve loved it from start to (near) finish. Really interested to see how it concludes.

Started watching Dr.Stone anime. Quite pleasant and funny! Totally recommend giving it a watch if you love science!
Dr. Stone has been on my to-watch list, actually, but it’s behind a few others.
I need to find a new manga to get into as well. I keep up with quite a few, but a lot of my favourites have either recently finished or are nearing their endings.
RIP to Toyko Ghoul and Shokugeki no Soma, you kept me entertained for years.
Oh yeah Shokugeki is awesome. It inspired me to take up cooking as a hobby! Those dishes man…
I liked it until season 3 was it? when the food fascist villain showed up and I sadly dropped the manga as I felt the story lost focus after that arc was dealt with.
on a more upbeat note, its dnd night, and though I am sad to see one of the players in our group not showing for the 2nd time in a row (he really brings character to the game so when he isn’t there it is felt) but I know he is unwell because he quit smoking.
I know he can keep it up and get over the addiction so here is to hoping he will recover and come back soon
Azami isn’t great himself, but the Regime de Cuisine arc that follows is actually super good.
I mean the cook off battles are great, but once they were done with the whole battle island deal, it just went off in a different direction and almost changed genre
Saiba Asahi was a weird villain. I still enjoyed it for what it was, but reinforcing the super power aspect of the series wasn’t for me. Cross Knives was crap.
As long as you find enjoyment, then that is all that matters
Never you mind what I think
Did you read the epilogue chapters? They manage to tie up the story really nicely; it’s much better than the preceding arc or two.
I am not sure?
I recall reading about a previously known brother who wasn’t blood-related to the main character.
Yeah, that’s the final arc. Then a while afterwards, there were a few prologue chapters. It relates to what all the characters do after Totsuki, tells us about Soma’s mother, etc.
I prefer such educative anime over super flashy DBZ anime personally. That’s why I recommend Dr. Stone as well. Pretty refreshing all things considered.
And if you want a super disturbing horror anime/manga, I recommend Made in Abyss.
maybe I should give it a chance and read it then.
thanks for telling me, I didn’t know
I am a few episodes deep and have yet to see the disturbing elements
It’s not a long read, only about 3 chapters.
Oh just you wait…
