Robots are cool.
Self-MOCs are just Bionicle fursonas.
Though Iâve never made one to my memory. I only ever made the actual sets, I hated mixing and matching of trying to make abominations of nature with the pieces.
While Bionicle avoided the worst aspects of a fan base I do recognise some similarities. Sonic and Bionicle both would appeal to people with social difficulties, Aspergerâs and the like, as the characters are nearly divided by colour which makes it very easy to identify and memorise who is who. Something that a lot of kids and young teens might struggle with otherwise. Motivations and so on are also extremely typical and easy to understand, though Bionicle was only obvious on a surface level it probably helped. Overall it makes each very appealing over other franchises with less obvious character identification.
Can this one murloc please spawn? Sell me the damn Taco.
Server-hopping is a great way to get Murloco.
Sadly, I have absolutely no idea how to do it.
By abusing the poor people trying to do the group quests in Nazjatar. But I always feel so rude doing that.
While I understand why its popular, server hopping is a major peeve of mine and one of the bad things Blizzard has put into the game.
I never understood the PokĂ©mon craze as a kid, Digimon is where itâs at.
I -adored- Digimon. Religiously watched the first 2 seasons. Sadly all the games were kinda doody, and from what I saw/heard, the seasons after the concluded arc with 1-2 were also bad.
Only watched it a bit around the age of 5-6 before it stopped popping up on TV where I am, still, it always looked cooler than Pokemon. You know, just a generally more serious theme, monsters were, well, monsters, got further than just fainting all the time.
I liked pokemon as a show, but the games was the core focus for me in that franchise. Digimon had alot more appeal as a show with the characters actually facing danger, character growth, dealing with more darker issues that kids could still take in, and even letting their characters grow up.
A big part of season 2 was that everyone had actually grown up to be adults or close to it, unlike pokemon where Ash is forever 10.
Pokemon as a game was never really my thing personally, just donât like turn-based games. Feels off-putting, why should I wait with my attack for the enemy to attack first?
The anime, of what Iâve seen, was, well, still good, didnât watch much of it so the entire âeternally a teenagerâ didnât ever get to my nerves.
Now, everything gets on my nerves, whyâs the kid even allowed to travel the world on his own? Heâs ten, dammit, he probably still has to go to school!
Nevermind him changing his clothes only like, every few years, guy must stink like the plague!
Can understand that personally I like turn-based games alot.
Got my taco, time to wait on the other murloc to start selling the right thing.
Itâs even more jarring when you realize that Pokemonâs major public are all adults by now youâd think they would at least a more adult Ash or have a side Pokemon show with more adult themes.
Honestly Iâm inclined to believe the original theory that Ash is in a coma and not really alive traveling.
I thought it was pretty clearly implied that the fire bird thing pokémon granted his wish, or whatever that theory was.
A life of eternal pokémon battles, rivalry, fun, etcetera.
The Pokemon anime has gotten really stale. I actually began watching again during the Kalos season as it actually seemed like Ash was going to win the League since (this is where itâs stale) every season followed the same volume of winning eight battles and then heâll lose the League. Of course they made him lose again in the finals and I have just been sticking to the games since then.
Every season has been litterally the same. Fumble through the region. Get completly owned in a gym. Befriend the gym-trainer and battle again and suddenly win, or win by some outside-source/semi-cheating.
Lose the big league, give up all pokémon except pikachu and friends, and move to a new region.
Also add in the token female character that has a crush on him that he doesnt notice, and a wannabe Brock, or the real brock.
The pokemon anime isnât really for you - the next season is for the next generation of 10-year-olds.
This is a fair point
Also, the Kalos design of Ash was actually rather mature-looking and it gave me the impression Ash was finally growing up. He resembled an actual teenager but then Sun and Moon happened where they gave him a complete redesign undoing that impression.
