It was basically nothing. The Legion preview/sneak trailer with Gul’dan revealed more story than this did.

I’ve had a closer look at Zin-Azshari now that I have a character with flying, and I actually take back my earlier criticism in this thread. From the sky, it looks ten times better and is actually reminiscent of the cinematic, to the point where it almost feels like a completely different location to what you see on the ground.
Hell, all of Nazjatar looks better with flying. Flying about in that Northern region (which is actually full of naga stractures in a way you can only appreciate when you’re flying) left me feeling very small. Art department knocked it out of the park yet again, and I’m sorry that I didn’t realise it earlier.

Yeah I outright refuse to RP around that or just make an excuse to get away from it. If you can ignore the big DD breasts and curvy figure, you certainly can ignore male human’s bulk.
Not only that we still got Kemonomimi RPers around here, hard to purge from this world… Those I take delight in insulting them IC and calling them mutants and no better than abominations… OOC I make my distaste known but hardly hostile.

Pet peeve: the upcoming pugging I will try to do.
I will only have time to play today from now to like… early afternoon. So in that time I will attempt to pug the new raid and dungeon.
This will be absolutely awful. I fully predict people demanding 415 and BfD curve from 08:01 on. I have grinded benthic stuff but still only have 407 average because there is no good way to get a weapon now so I am stuck with a 375.
Why, oh why does the new raid have to have that one transmog item I can’t live without?
That’s the realisation I came to too, today. It really looks like Nazjatar have been made to be seen from a flying point of view; even the walls of water around are more impressive and oppressive when you fly (for you cannot forget that they’re here, while stuck on the ground you rarely even see them with all the cliffs and stuff.)

I have exactly the same situation and fears coming up. Though my ilevel is slightly lower as stupid mechagon has given me ring spam so I’m stuck with a 370 trinket as well.
I really hope people don’t OTT those first few mythic and mechagon… Part of me is looking forward to the experience of catching a new dungeon when everyone is a newbie, so expectations will be more loose and understanding in theory, and we can just soak up the atmosphere and experience (that said, I’ve swotted up on tacs) I hope I’m right.

IC, yes, Chieun is very much a tank above all else! OOC, I dislike prot (both mechanically and the endless yelling) so I am Arms. (Fury cannot be considered when I am starved of weapons as is).
I just got into a mechagon group that will launch at the reset in half an hour. They seem chill, we’re all going in mostly blind so it should not be too serious. I am more worried about the raid though…
Nice transmog by the way. I’ve always liked that helmet. Nice IC reason for wearing it as well, logical for a radiation-conscious gnome.
Gravely disappointed with the mechagon dungeon. I thought it would be entirely underground, but most of it is just in an instanced version of the overworld zone!

You know, from the 8.2 preview stuff when it was in the works, I thought all of Mechagon would be this massive underground tech city. That is how they portrayed it up until it came out basically.
