My rest will involve sitting in bed and RPing. No work. Woop.
The pain blows chunks, and frankly the breathlessness is tiring.
Buuuut, my fair gamers, thank you for the kind words.

I’ve been spitballing for a while now the idea of my character in ESO starting a solo practice clinic. I’ve discussed the logistics of the matter IC with my friend who is the one who taught my character restoration a few years ago in the first place, and all that is mostly figured out.

Also trained in combat first aid in the army in case that ever comes useful and I get to flex proper etiquette at people so that helps with medical RP.

What peeves me though is trying to figure out the house to use for it. I’ve a few contenders and another friend of mine who’s a master class decorator in ESO gave me the blessing to use some of her layouts for inspiration, but making the “operation room” with the furniture options we have is very limited.

And don’t even get me started on trying to make a “doctor” outfit.

Ravager finally drops from Herod.

It goes to the shaman.

Now I shouldn’t be mad because Warriors get Whirlwind axe which is fantastic and it was an upgrade for him. But I’m still ultramad about that. He’s only going to be a caster at endgame anyway! He might as well get used to it!

Also people whispering salt because when advertising groups I say no warriors (Duh), shaman (see above) or hunters (Hunters roll on everything under the sun, even melee weapons with a proc and no stats. Not making that mistake again!). If it bothers them that much they can make their own groups.

I end up waiting a bit longer for groups but nearly always find one almost entirely of casters by the end, which suits me just fine!

If I can get the Scarlet Legs and Axe from Herod I can move on, both would be significant upgrades! At the very least I can spam the dungeon over and over limited only by people quitting. Weak.

My peeve: Got FF8 Remaster for ps4, but every FMV cutscene has serious sound glitches, like the music is played on a very low quality stream. Only other people I know who play it are on steam, where there is no issue. I can’t tell if this is a general ps4 issue or something is just wrong with my specific game :frowning: (even re-downloaded it, and it didn’t help.)

Have you checked on Google or anything?

https://twitter.com/GameZineTeam/status/1169249341133004801 Is it this issue? If so you’re not alone, but also there doesn’t seem to be any discussion of a way to fix it.

Further discussion on a similar (maybe the same?) issue, but still no fix.

Hmm doesn’t seem like it, my music is only bad in the cutscenes and not actual gameplay.

Though I do find the general level of music way too loud compared to sound effects, but that’s a whole other kettle of fish, and not quite as annoying in the end.

I managed to pull my right upper back muscle and it hurts like a b1tch whenever i basically do anything.

I also still don’t have a good subject for my masters thesis.

Ms Monopoly

It’s monopoly except female players get more money at the start and when they pass go. So they can “enjoy the financial advantage men have in real life”.

I… Did nobody stop to think that this just implies women need a handicap in a board game? At all? At any point? Even if the message is well intended the implementation without that context is completely backwards.

The game, along with socialism-opoly that was also recently brought out, was entirely intended to generate publicity via anger-clicks and appealing to certain demographics.

I wouldn’t give it the time of day. It’s coldly cyncial corporate marketing.

It’s just capitalism being capitalism and making some really really easy bucks + notoriety, yeah.

Why is my Balance Druid as squishy as any plain old cloth user?

It’s ridiculous how much damage I take despite just having 395 which should be alright for casual questing in Nazjatar.

Seriously the tuning there is ridiculous.

Just identify as a women, EZ cheat… or more fitting for monopoly, fraud.

Monopoly is, and has always been, a garbage game for garbage people.

Didn’t they also make a Monopoly for Millennials, where you can’t even get real estate?

Something like that.

I hate monopoly these days anyway. There’s far better alternatives that are more fun, better designed and easier to understand.

If I could I’d bin every copy of it that we have in the house. But mummight ask why I’m throwing away the Christmas present my aunt got me (Monopoly but with credit cards…)

True.

Yes. Likewise to the above cases, this was designed specifically to get outrage/curiosity publicity from millenials and appeal to crusty old boomers who a) like monopoly and b) hate millenials.

It’s all trash. Eat the rich.
