Yes, I am the turbo SJW your dad warned you about for saying ‘maybe we shouldn’t use gendered slurs against women’
But I don’t use the B-word solely against women.
#Equality.
Well said, truly something golden and true.
You’re my favourite
It’s getting darker earlier and earlier which means less time swimming in the sea in the evenings.
Because that word is used for males as females.
Your point?
You’re a joke.
I am hardly one to cringe but people using F and C words in RP are making me cringe. You have 60000 possiblities to insult someone creatively and you use the most stagnant words you could find IRL. So sad.
ok friend.
There was a lot of yells calling her several iterations of “lady of the night” too sadly.
Sylvanas isn’t real.
ok weirdo
But how can our eyes be real then?
How people refer to fictional women usually indicates how they react to real ones too.
See: the torrents of abuse Lena Headey gets despite being the nicest person
yeah but spamming generic insults and blatantly misognystic lines like an overly-hormonal 14 year old sadly is and it is a sign of low-creativity, not to mention a bit telling about players who think it’s totally fine as Bellir pointed out.
It’s simply unnecessary and there’s 1001 more creative ways to go about it.
Here’s an idea: a woman can be an a-hole. As much as a guy. If the woman is an a-hole, then people will call her that. Because she acts badly.
Most people are not happy with BfA and Sylvanas certainly is part of why BfA is so bad. Her character is in the spotlight, which is pretty bad considering that was never her point as a character itself.
I tend to root for the antagonists in…pretty much every form of media that I consume. I usually find them more intriguing or entertaining than the protagonists in the majority of cases.
Cersei was a hated character for many, so too was Joffrey. Sylvanas is a hated character for many and so too was Garrosh. I don’t think most people are factoring in the gender at all.
champ the issue isn’t people insulting the undead elf lady who is a thinly veiled re-incarnation of a certain german leader from the 1940s, the issue is the specific words they use, how fervently, and how obsessively.
It makes 'em look really not so good
idk they seem quite fixated on the gender amigo, as was said before, calling her all sorts of variations of a lady of the night.
Sounds like overinterpretation and wanting to be tirggered. It’s a word on a fictional character, get over it.
Sometimes people forget this. Call her all you want, she’s just fictional.
okay r/thedonald. Are you just here to complain because people frown upon obsessive use of gendered slurs?
Isn’t that a fault of their character and not themselves?
No, I am here to laugh in your face because you get triggered over a fictional character.
