Just tried maria for the first time.
Got her to half health. Bullied her with Ludwig’s.
Don’t really know how to dodge in the 2nd phase.
EDIT; Got her into fire phase that time.

A greater flask of Endless Fathoms on the AH costs 480g 70s. It’s made up of 20 Zin’anthid, 5 Riverbud, 5 Anchor Weed and 1 Crystal Vial.
20 Zin’anthid on the AH costs 644g.
5 Riverbud costs 30g
5 Anchor Weed costs 340g
For a total raw material cost of 1014g, more than twice what it’s selling for on the AH.
My peeve is how many people misspell my character name as Lintain.
I’d like to be able to reply on the other forums now Blizz, I have a sub.
my feel when i’ve been playing tifa wrong this whole time and so have none of the proficiency from her other weapons
what is even the point of me? god i hate myself
I’m not sure this is a peeve or not but it’d be nice if they ever explained why humans disproportionately make up the Twilight’s Hammer/N’zoth’s forces as far as mortal followers go.
Are they inherently weak to the Void? Susceptible to Old Gods? Sure you see other race members (dwarves, elves, orcs etc.) in high positions too but as far mooks go it’s almost always humans en masse. This is especially true in the invasions it looks like.
I’ll “let” Void Elves off the hook for it because they’re already one foot into insanity to begin with.
Try logging out+back in again on the forums if you haven’t already.
oh no, some of those are really good. Starshower is excellent and cool (at least on slow-moving enemies).
i still haven’t worked out how to play her correctly tbqh and it’s stressing me out because i love her and i just want the best for her
i must be doing something wrong because whirling uppercut is the only thing ever available to me.
I’ll do it again, it does take a few days according to the CM who answered me last time.
but that was the old forums.
Unbridled Strength is one of her ATB abilities. It stacks twice. At two stacks Whirling Uppercut becomes Rise and Fall (combo kick which ends in Omnistrike). At one stack it becomes Omnistrike (super powerful elbow hit that also knocks some enemies in airborne).
So build to two ATB bars*->Unbridled Strength x2->Rise and Fall->Omnistrike->Whirling Uppercut is a big damage combo.
*Her gloves also sometimes come with the unlockable Concentration abilitiy which has a % chance to give her one stack of Unbridled Strength at the start of combat.
Her other abilities are
Divekick - Damage and quick execution.
Overpower - Can chain without interruption from a punchy combo
Starshower - Slow activation but BIG damage, but only use on stationary or slow moving enemies. Fast movers just dodge it.
Focused Strike - Boosts stagger when enemy is Pressured (like Focused Thrust/Shot)
Chi Trap - Floating orb that deals non-elemental magic damage (honestly kinda seems bad? Not found a good use for it yet).
Also if/when you get the Pray Materia I’ve found it really good on Tifa because she builds ATB so fast, so she’s a very cheap healer to save on MP.
The OOC reason is because the developers think of humans as the default, unmarked race and all other races as special cases. Hearthstone is generally much better about this, and cults are more likely to feature members of more unusual races, like draenei and pandaren.
There’s this cave in the Western Plaguelands where you’ll find generic Cult of the Damned members that can spawn as draenei, and they always stood out to me because of how rarely draenei get to be part of anything that isn’t related to their race as a whole.
Disciple of C’thun’s card being a pandaren made it memorable (along with its voiceline) for sure, because of how unusual that was. I dunno how it works on blizz’s back end but I’d have thought their randomiser button for mobs could just be expanded to include other races, so it shouldn’t be that hard to make them more diverse.
Either that or humans really are just super weak to the Void moreso than others. The great human potential…to get owned.
You could add some lore justification to it - the previous archbishop of the Church of Holy Light was a Twilight cultist, so not unreasonable to suggest that humans were more likely to be swayed into the cult
it’s not the actual reason but it’s not bad
Stormwind was also the only city Deathwing descended upon personally, which may have turned many of its denizens to his cause.
According to Chronicles, Benedictus actually did (subtly) guide Stormwind’s populace towards becoming members of the Twilight’s Hammer, and especially so after the coming of Deathwing, as people understandably sought his counsel.
Thus was born the practice of speaking in tongues, exploiting religious rapture to work the vile tongue of shath’yar into sacred rituals.
And the Twilight’s Hammer mass recruited the survivors of Lordaeron who headed straight south to Stormwind (as opposed to lingering in Hillsbrad or headed west to Kalimdor) by preying on their broken faith. That’s how they got Benedictus.
Work is just utter misery at the moment. Super angry customers fuming at me all day long.
At least I have people helping me now, but still it’s super demoralising.
Even Tifa can’t ease the strain.
Peeve is Blizzard hammering down a 2 week vacation with the reason being that I posted Asmon’s video.
It was atleast that post that they sent a mail about/said was the reason for it. Other peeves including stealth-deleting posts way before it hit & a shady GM cancelling my appeal ticket twice without responding & also going back and retroactivly changing what they wrote in a previous ticket which intially caused me to report said GM both via the survey & in the new tickets alongside the appeal.
Anyway, Im back now!
Welcome back!
Thanks you!
