just realised we’re doing the zero session for my first dungeons and dragons campaign this time next week and i’m getting giddy
can’t wait to make an absolute mess and die in the first real fight we get into

Yeah the new campaign feeling is always real sweet.
Only bested by the wrapping up a long running campaign feeling imo.
Remember, Shield is your friend.
God-damn it, the new guy who showed up to join my colony was a mime. God I hate mimics!!!
Oh. Instead of burying the mime, they just butchered him for meat instead. Cool okay.
not if i didn’t take it
When the new guy who joins is absolutely useless so he has to go to the sleepy time room.
unironically me irl tbh
As a self-restraint, I don’t allow myself to recruit prisoners – so raiders die, and the useless are stripped of their gear and banished from the colony.
That’s incredibly wasteful of you, some of us have a bear farm to run.
I’m not capable of playing like a psychotic organ farm style game, I’m too nice
Dwarf fortress makes me pretty psychotic but only about elves.
If the trees didn’t want to be cut down they would run away.
My peeve is me forgetting to pick up the piece of fruit and my refilled water bottle when I left the kitchen after… going to do that.
It started out with one of my pawns needing a heart transplant, then there was some stomach problems… the road to hell paved with good intentions.
I wish this surprised me.
Chapter 8 of the Cov campaign, why is it an option to pick the ‘wrong’ cloak for the rest of your type-specific Cov set?! I went for what stats were best for Hunter, not realising that the names were actually specific to what set you had. Because, y’know, I can’t GET the rest of the other four sets, so… logically, WHY would I pick them if that’s the case?
And before anyone snarks, I’m kind of tired and drained after the week, so no, I didn’t notice. Again, it shouldn’t be an option when it comes to class-locked sets for heaven sakes.
My guess is that since quest rewards are automatically filtered based on armor type, whoever was in charge of this quest didn’t bother to set up a manual filter on the cloaks, and since all cloaks belong to the same armor type, you’re offered all of them.
Basically, developer laziness.
By the way, you can buy covenant armor of any type at the vendor. It’s how I got the Night Fae robe as a hunter.
if he doesn’t bring back interesting bones from his trips out I call stolen valour here
spoken as someone who has a druid friend
I have began recruiting a palico army in Monster Hunter.
EDIT: i do have a 2nd Palamute, but since they don’t have classes like the palicos, I don’t see the need to recruit more than 1.
I assume we’re talking about Rise here? I only got World myself, am waiting for the PC version release of Rise.
yes, Rise.
I have a switch so thought, “may as well buy it now”
