Ok, I can now tell what I don’t like about the Witcher 3 and refrains from me vibing with it.
The pacing is god awful. I dislike being swarmed with side quests and some of them are too high level for me to do such as the Arachas one. Sure, there’s a number placed on them but why am I getting a lvl 22 quest when I’m just level 6? This doesn’t make any sense.
Moreover, this is one of those RPGs where you know collecting stuff will be useful later, but they have no immediate use, it preys on your hoarder tendencies and clutters your bags swiftly. The alchemy thing irritates me… During the Werewolf quest I needed Wolfsbane otherwise he’s just unkillable without the necessary oil for 30 solid minutes I roamed the map and found nothing around the concerned Lair.
This is Skyrim all over again…
I don’t care what people think, a solid 2/3rds of Boruto’s Dad was a fun romp.

Gave up after 3H. Just shy enough from getting my refund.
I don’t remember it being that atrocious, but I think I just ignored the quests until I was in the range of doing them.
It was very odd to stray a little bit off the intended path to explore the pretty landscapes and get smacked in the face by a 40-level-higher golem or a winged thing that i’m not sure was called gryphon or not.
I’m pretty sure herbs cost no bag space though, or is just very marginal? Though I do think the bag system was a bit cumbersome especially for finding a specific item if you needed to.
yeah i remember things like herbs took up no space. very few items did, it was mainly weapons/armour and some junk that you can just sell without issue. also you can buy most herbs from herbalists rather than looking for them. once you’ve made an oil once it’s forever in your inventory, at least on the difficulty i played
i also seem to remember that oils weren’t required to beat monsters unless you were on the highest difficulty, because all it really did was add a damage buff. it’s mainly down to how you fight them, like trying to fight a spectre/banshee or whatever without using the spell that slows enemies and having them enter it

see, here’s my peeve that i think i’ve said in some other places already too.
i don’t know if i’m playing on death march. i started on a lower difficulty and game allowed me to raise it to death march, but it feels similar in difficulty ??
i know im not meant to get like, death march achievements unless i start a new game(+?) and do it fully through but idk why it’s seen as very difficult, it’s the same game huh.
