We finally getting some thunder and rain
Iām pretty sure I can make decent melodies and harmonies on a piano with three octaves. Sure itās limiting but its not a big deal.

Took She-Ra out with me to pick up cat pills from the vet.
Mini was not impressed.
Would take both but heās not very people-friendly (She-Ra is however) and then he sets her off, she sets him off etc.

Finally finished downloading and I jump into character creation.
Casually scrolling through my options, hard to decide. Naturally, Iām drawn to the female optionsā¦ But then I check out male Au Ra.

Basegame and the first expansion are part of the free trial.
People have spoken something about Omega - is that the World Server or something else?
Omega is one the Chaos Data Center.
I only seem to be recommended Light Data Center.
go back to the main menu and click ādata centerā and change it to chaos.

The data center is the most important choice, since you can freely visit other servers on your data center, but not different data centers (yet ā theyāre working on it). You want Chaos, as opposed to Light, since most AD folks and most RP is on Chaos.
Be warned, though, that because of the wave of WoW refugees, itās currently almost impossible to create a new character on Omega, and often on any server at all, during the evening. You will have better luck during the morning or afternoon.
Once you do create your character, however, you can play without any problems; so far I havenāt experienced any lag or disconnection issues even at peak hours.

Honestly, my problem with that screen is not the wording (nobody reads these anyway) but the fact that it appears at that specific moment at all. Itās the same stuff youāre shown when creating an account anyway, and you have to tick an āI agreeā checkbox under similar text back then, during account creation, so itās probably not even strictly legally necessary.
My peeve is different.
This is a big milestone for your character. Youāve just unlocked your level 30 job and got a soul crystal. Youāve graduated from being a novice adventurer. Itās supposed to be a triumphant, uplifting moment for an archer starting out as a bard. Instead, my game flow is interrupted by a screen of legalese mentioning Square Enix and third-party music ā and suddenly Iām back in the Primary World again, looking at the abortive little Secondary World from the outside.
