Same with “blasts” tbh. It seems to have petered out with the American election over with, but holy hell in a handbasket did that word get thrown around like Mardi Gras confetti.
I’m still bitter we left ‘ye’ ‘thou’ and ‘thee’ behind.
And yonder. Nobody says yonder anymore.
I lived in a long-distance relationship with my better half for 9,5 years. Not sure if this will help you, but I hope it does:
It’s good to feel sad, sorrow and/or bittersweet about the departure. The first few days and week are usually the hardest, but after that things tend to start going better again.
That just shows that what you feel is genuine.
Longing turns into excitement when the time draws near to see them again.
Ordering Ikea furniture to continue home renovations and whatnot we started over the two weeks.
I am in a very Build-y mood. Improvements shall be made >:3
How is it that with over a decade of feedback about how absolute
the Ranger capstone is, 5e.24 replaced it with one that is arguably even worse. At the very least, it’s definitely not better.
Before:
Once on your turn, add WisMod to attack+damage rolls against a Favored Enemy.
Not great. If you’ve been wis-stacking this is +5/+5, but more likely for most builds a +3/+3. Very unimpressive.
After:
Your hunter’s mark damage dice is increased from d6 to 10.
This represents an average increase of damage per hit from 3.5 to 5.5, or in other words, +2 damage per hit. Since Rangers will have a baseline two attacks per turn and can possibly push it to four with weapon or spell choices, you’re looking at +4-+8 damage/turn. Probably an average of…about +5.
Like, really? You dragged the Ranger through ten generally okay and then ten more mediocre levels only to give them this as a capstone? +4 damage? That’s about the same as a third level subclass feature! For a capstone!
Deeply embarrassing.
Ranger in general has had it quite tough over the years. It’s one of those classes that has some really cool and neat ideas but has many times fallen flat on in that alot of what they do, others can generally do better.
Both those capstones are embarrassing though and makes Ranger a class NOT worth mono-classing.
They should import how bg3 people do gloom stalker
Other people having a turn or being able to detect you after being shot in the face for half their hp seems like it’s a good reward for Ranger being what it is…
Rangers are great, shame their level cap is 5
Some of their subclasses do merit sticking it out 'til 11…but even that’s a bit of a stretch.
I just gave them a vorpal effect instead as a capstone.
The first time you damage a Favored Enemy, they must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a success, they take an additional 4d10 damage. On a fail, the creature dies, unless the creature has legendary actions or the DM otherwise deems them too important to immediately die. If so, they instead take 8d10 additional damage instead. Once a creature has been affected by Foe Slayer (whether the save is successful or not), it cannot affect them again for 24 hours.
No
I just turned them into Skyrim stealth archer
Which is available in bg3
It just works
every game has a stealth archer if your brave enough
With stealth stacking and darkness you don’t even need to be brave
Also help
I want to draw
But my arm hurts
Why did no one stop me from falling???
Once more I am locked in on just having one character to choose on the forums.
toodhowardeverythingjustworks.gif goes here.
On the plus side, I’m enjoying the Nightfall event more than expected. It’s so simple, damn does it feel repetitive… but somehow, murking spiders and being praised for it is A+ soul food.
My every Skyrim experience summarized right there.
At least it’s not giving you two and locking them in on different mediums. or doing what it did a few times and switch the default at random.
Had periods of times where the forums were a dice roll of which character I was appearing as because I sure didn’t have control over it.
“since we put up the fence, the foxs haven’t ate any chickens. So clearly the chickens are now safe and we don’t need the fence.”
The labout gov when it comes to financial regulations. Clearly.
You also just summed up most of Europe’s mentality when it came to their defense-budget for the last thirty years , until now
reliance on the us etc etc and its consequences
Have we all blocked them yet?
No, we are all seeking closer trading ties… because apperantly the US seems like a stable trading partner somehow.
I’m being sarcastic and hyperbolic but all the “we’re discussing the tarrifs with the trump admin” etc is like… there’s nothing to discuss. He’s a child having a tantrum, this is not the moment to engage. But whatever.
The only discussion is to tell him “ok and” and completely withdraw from US trade or just implement tariffs back.
There can be absolutely no deals or discussions with someone changes goals and stances on a hourly basis depending on which oligarch spoke to him last or what mood he is in.
