Went to watch Snow White. Iâm literally alone in the cinema. Admittedly itâs late and itâs the subtitled version rather than the dubbed one, but still.

I havenât seen it, Iâve just seen the drama. So I canât comment on its actual movie quality 
But it seems to be one of those movies that caught negative attention from everyone and all sides. From Gal Gadot being stinky, to typical grifters calling it âwokeâ.
And some other things.
Im going to ask the question - whatever real life controversies exist aside, real or imagined⌠is it any good?

Iâm about halfway through, and honestly, to an adult, itâs just boring. And to a kid, I think itâs too visually busy compared to the original cartoon. Iâd show a kid that one instead.
The CGI dwarves and animals are too distractingly out of place in an otherwise live action movie. And the Queen isnât even scary, sheâs just ridiculous. She looks like a cosplayer in a tinfoil crown. And the bandits look like American tourists who got lost in the woods.
Itâs a total stylistic mess and Iâm watching it curiously like a trainwreck.

A live action snow while has a lot of potential in the right hands across various areas. But sounds like Disney disneyed again.
If itâs overly busy it canât even be used as a ârewardâ film at terms end as its overload the more neurodiverse kids.
Im just going to assume the talent that knew what they were doing died off at this point.
