Unfortunately that’s my main attitude regarding Blizzard lately.
I’ve seen Durand in quite a few things, including playing Barry in The Resident Evil series and being unceremoniously killed off for an important character in the games.
He was also Gabriel in Legion and I like that film. Not overly fond of the Dominion series set after the film, but I like the film.
That’s where I’m at. The good expansion, bad expansion cycle isn’t a thing and I can only hear “this expansion was bad because they’re working really hard on the next one!” so many times before I stop believing it.
If it’s good, I’ll be very pleased! But I’m waiting to see some content before I get excited.
That’s another thing that peeves me with the series, its made clear in the books, the master cannot transfer to anyone who has emotional connections which is why he was training Zack to only love him in the last book.
And there he is jumping into Palmer in the series and i was just like; “dude, come on”
The one with one of the stupidest justice systems I’ve seen in serious fiction, and that’s saying something.
There are alot more deaths/character fates in the books(including Palmer’s) that are much more fitting to the character.
The rules/laws of the Strigoi and the Master is also more coherent.
Also, I never want to see anything like Palmer & Coco again on television. In anything. Please. Never.
That whole episode is so frustrating, because the whole planet is stupid, not just the justice system! How have they survived?!
Their surprised Pikachu when the Goa’uld attack them is pretty funny though.
God no, jesus Christ.
Also, I liked the casting for Eichorst, that dude always seems to be type casted as a N*zi though.
okay Blizz, I know its a bad word but he is actually playing a WW2 bad guy who got turned into a vampire, don’t ban me.
He plays the part really well and is so eerie.

Legion had a lot of pre-production ongoing since they were either going WoD or Legion.
Look, I’m willing to swallow the pill of “We had to train people to be up to speed on how Blizzard works.” but it doesn’t justify in the slightest the abysmall content of WoD and its abandonment. I do not accept it either for Shadowlands, I mean it, as much as I’d like to get the hell out of the expansion, it shouldn’t be an excuse for Wow’s team to constantly “give up” when what they do isn’t working out. Giving up on a project is admitting failure in the worst way possible because we don’t even have the guarantee that the next one will be any better.
A decent company would work on fixing the issues plaguing the product, ironing out the issues and actively listening to their customer base. Blizzard only seems to do this when they’re in the hellish red and promising you to listen and do as you suggest next time around. Once they get back to a level of “success” and success by now for them means not making our gaming experience to be a chore, they’ll forget to listen just as quickly.
I already hate how the Gamers™ will consoooooom the moment they see the CGI trailer that will drop 25 references to their nostalgic times on W3.
He’s pretty much type casted into the role, he plays one in tarentino’s Inglorious Bastards too.
Palmer just having his neck broke and being left was so satisfying.
Not even fit to drink was very fitting to the character.
Not fit for mindless thralldom either.
He had no character growth and didn’t get better looking.
Marcus has also suffered enough.
his poor goddann tomatoes
Speaking of The Strain, I watched the 1st season then read the books.
This is a mistake for me, I am one of the few people who need to watch the movie/series first before reading the book otherwise my prior knowledge prevents me from enjoying the visual media.
Even doing it this way, I appreciate the book more than the film/series
Except interview with the vampire, that film cut the book down perfectly. It dutifily copied the scenes it had in the film from the book word for word but cut all the faffing and waffling of the book that’s inbetween.
EDIT: The Crow, saw the film first, then read the comic, can appreciate the differences and enjoy both.
EDIT2: Zoo, watched quite a few seasons, enjoyed the first couple, main character’s evil sister having a Xanatos Gambit every episode was getting pretty old though, haven’t read the book its based on yet.
Gotta love having to dress up to look my actual age. It’s a blessing except when not. Once the grey hair really comes in I won’t be safe.
Also, big bang sheldon is making a joke of the neurodiverse. Awful show.
I’ve started up Persona 5 Royal again.
This game has been living rent free in my head since I played it in 2020 and I can’t let it go. It’s honestly one of the best gaming experiences of my life, although I’m sure a lot of that is tied into being stuck at home (although working) during COVID and all the feelings mixed into that. I just wish I could play it all over again with no memory of it.
This time I’m going to max out every confidant, as in my original playthrough I missed out on I think 2 characters. I will also attempt to not choose Makoto as my waifu. Strong contenders this time are Haru (sad she comes in so late), Kawakami and chess girl whose name I have forgotten.
Everything about it sucks.
Hifumi.
Also you should definitely pick her or Haru and not your teacher come on man…
I realise that there are very shaky ethical grounds to dating your teacher, more particularly her dating you.
But the adult playing the game wants to date a fellow adult.
Haru is probably going to be the winner though. I slept on (not with) Anne in my first playthrough because I figured she was going to be a boring character but she ended up being really well rounded (not in that way) and interesting. But Haru was a late entry that ended up being really cool and I’m sad I never maxed out her confidant.
