Venari is latin, meaning to be pursuing something. Figuratively a hunter. I just thought that’s interesting.
She was cooler when she was Sylvanas in disguise.
I just realised and got annoyed by the fact that the Jailer’s whole schtick is meant to be that he’s super-persuasive, leaning on legitimate grievances or knowing the exact people to influence and with what - this is the guy who convinced both Kel’thuzad and Uther the Lightbringer to join him - and yet he never once talks to the player, despite having at least two people (KT and Sylvanas) in his inner circle who would say ‘yeah this one’s really powerful you should probably deal with them’
I really want to know who thought up the story of Shadowlands and who said “Aye, let’s do it.” Cause it was just… meh. Shadowlands was so meh, to the point that even my native language game-magazine that I read, mentioned it in their article about Dragonflight.
Just got spooked by a massive moth flying into my room, I urh, am not proud of that hahaha
The player is responsible for Wrath Naxx since you gave Kel’thuzad’s phylactery to an incredibly sus guy for money.
“The phylactery is all that remains of the master of Naxxramas. Your better judgment dictates that you destroy the phylactery, preventing the lich from ever reforming. Thankfully, you seldom listen to that internal voice of reason.
Someone at Light’s Hope will pay you hugely for this artifact. Who cares if Kel’Thuzad regenerates to full power?”
All he had to do was conjure up some yellow punctuation over his head and tell us to kill the Covenant leaders, and then our faction leaders, for 12 gold and a shoelace, and we’d do it.
It could even come with a Sellout title!
Look, resistance gear didn’t come cheap ok
And I’d do it again for a taco.
Plot twist in the final WoW expansion is that -we-, the most feared Murderhobo’s of Azeroth, are the endgame boss. It’s a solo encounter against a team of surviving lore figures like Illidan, Sylvanas, Velen, Manduin etc… Then in last cutscene we just see a silhouette of Zovaal with an eerie voice: “All according to plan.”
Man, Sword of Night and Flame is bloody disgusting.
…
I have 2, powerstancing like a boss.
Small forum related peeve: Strongly dislike how every weekend the trolls come out and flood the forums with terrible bait posts, purposefully controversial topics or idiotic demands…
So a couple of months ago, we bought an automatic cat feeder, a round box with six sections for food and a hole in the lid rotating between them at set times.
Today the cat learned how to open the lid and ate his entire daily ration in one go.
…I guess we’ll go back to feeding him manually now?

I guess Danuser was right about one thing: Shadowlands really is a fractal. A fractal of bad writing decisions. Focusing on any single element of Shadowlands worldbuilding reveals a wreck just as broken as the big picture.
He’s a master manipulator who somehow doesn’t manipulate, just coasting on established power dynamics with a few inane lines to flex, shirtlessly getting the waifu and rising to the top of the Domination hierarchy.
He’s an i*cel’s image of a successful villain.
they did the dreadlords dirty, absolutely nothing about their new origin makes sense except perhaps for the vampiric flavour they had
Come on Blanchy, spawn so i can get on with my day.
Could deffo see that being a story, the protags/order hall leaders telling world leaders they arent capable of defending their people, always relying on heroes, the time for the adventurer guild to destroy all governments and take over the world and ensure peace similar to when Superman went nuts n decided he’d rule the world with his other powerful chums, I can see it now, Sylv returned from Slands theres a court case and it seems she may get a slap on the wrist, the protag assassinates her and declares that anyone who isnt a part of the adventuring guild that has destroyed all the bigbads isnt capable of leading/protecting Azeroth anymore and big changes need to occur, the lore figures are hunted down, some captured and killed, others going into hiding, while some max geared Human Male Paladin with artefacts and trophies from previous big bads rules Azeroth, but the rogue Order Hall leader starts gathering others to combat the Paladins rule of Azeroth, and a civil war across Azeroth involving the order halls and adventurers kicks off, with the Rogue order hall leader and the Paladin fighting it out at the end.
I was just given 20L of Lilley’s Mango cider for a belated birthday present.
Not just Kel’thuzad either. Back in Vanilla we were also responsible for allowing Hakkar to be spawned into our world cause a troll duped us by saying it was to -stop- Hakkar from being summoned.
In TBC we ended up being responsible for the resurrection of Teron Gorefiend for similar reasons I believe, cause an old Shadowmoon Spirit that was Gorefiend in disguise told us it was to stop him.
And in WotlK we ended up clearing out the opposition in Drak’tharon keep so that Drakuru could deliver the place to the Lich King, after he pretended to be our friend.
Tl;dr, the PC really is quite dumb.
Edit: The Black Dragonflight get honorable mentions too, since they had us destroy Dark Irons in the Searing Gorge and the Gronn and Ogres of Blade’s Edge in TBC, but those aren’t as bad because that was in the player character’s interest too, not as directly stupid as the first examples.
