Pet peeves: The return (Part 3)

tomato soup might be bearable cold, just gotta make sure it has no solid bits

in dragon age news, solas asked me to find a spirit friend in the real world for him. i did and it went badly and his friend died and then he blew up the people responsible with a fireball

then he went off and moped for a while and came back but was alright with me because i let him blow the people up

me and him haven’t really been getting on so far so it was nice to see him actually appreciate something i did

I resolved that quest diplomatically.

You chose the wrong option then didn’t ya.

i cant stand Solas and never understood the hype for this elf

Perhaps you could explain what exactly you don’t like about him?

Without spoiling anything for Mr. Mito

Although basically, if the player isn’t into elven fantasy in games/settings, they’re not going to be so into characters like Solas, who embody that fantasy.

Solas is spiritually bald too

He’s the coolest character in any of the Dragon Age games and them’s facts.

i was tired of him disapproving of everything i do so i figured i’d let him have his way this once

No I was encouraging you, disapproving of Lintian. Burn them mages, they’re only shemlen anyway.

I dont like his attitude in general, i dont like the way he looks either. Just as Loras said I am not a fan of elven side of DAs story. Matter of preference because for example I also saw lots of fan not being fond of Dwarves while I find whole Orzammar great

it seemed fair. they were being really dumb summoning a demon

IT WASN’T A DEMON THEY TURNED IT INTO ONE REEEEEEEEEE

Can’t believe u

bruh :skull:

yeah i know, i mean they were trying to summon a demon to protect them. so they knew they were dabbling with some really stupid magic and just happened to catch solas’ friend in it but have no excuse

Solas is one of the more difficult characters to earn the approval of, because his morals are a bit more varied from what you’d expect. He’s consistently approving if you help elves and ask him questions, though. Boy loves talking about the Fade.

He even enjoys being at Halamshiral.

If I knew elves were going to be involved I probably would have taken Solas. But he caught me out after the event because I apologised to him for not being able to help Briala and he hit me with the: “Why, because we’re both elves?” and I thought for a moment the Inquisitor was about to get cancelled.

He says the same to my elf inquisitor, who did side with Briala, then goes on to say he doesn’t feel much commonality with modern elves. Despite that he approves of helping them anyway.

He also tried to talk to Sera about Elf Stuff and she just makes fart noises at him, so maybe that’s the reason he’s so jaded.

I’ve taken him with me to the Exalted Plains which I’ve just started (per Vixi’s guide) because I figured it would be his jam.

My next main quest is to go after Corypheus in the Arbor because Morrigan says he is after an eluvian, and she showed me what’s on the other side. I don’t know what I expected to be there but it wasn’t that.

I’m going to hang fire on doing that for a while though.

I also got a war table quest to find the Hero of Ferelden, which feels lame but I guess it was the only way they could reasonably include them. They’re not an easy character to bring in like Hawke is.

me, not teaching elves anything about the past: wow, modern elves are so dumb they don’t know anything about our past

(I also dislike solas in case it wasn’t clear)
