Whenever he tries he just gets Nam flashbacks of Sera responding to his efforts with silly fart noises. Blame the city elf. :pensive:

sera is the only party member i actively dislike.

i just donā€™t get her at all

Iā€™m having a renaissance with Sera. I quite enjoy her now, though Iā€™d like her more if she was into elf stuff.

Solas: we used to have a massive magical empire

Sera, who would also be considered dirt in this magical empire: wow cool story bro

oh i forgot about cole again. i guess i donā€™t dislike him but he feels like he entered the party too late and i have no place for him

I cannot overstate just how funny it is that you keep forgetting about him, given his ability to make people forget his existence

he lost that ability now because i made him human (still not sure if that was right, solas hated it) but i still keep forgetting him

itā€™s baffling

I let him keep on being a spirit. Heā€™s creepy but entertaining that way.

i wish i had left him a spirit because it made him more interesting. but varric made a very convincing argument and his chest hair was more appealing than solasā€™ shiny head.

Honestly I wish I could just let Cole choose for himself, my inquisitors rarely like deciding someoneā€™s life for them (unless that decision involves a sword to the face).

Tbh when i think of it I cant seem to like many of DA I characters. Blackwall, Varric, Leliana, Cullen are my favorites

I honestly found Solas the easiest companion to earn approval with.

Itā€™s summed up by this:

I was playing a goody-two-shoes who tried to help everyone regardless of race or background, seek the most diplomatic solution to every problem, and learn everything there was to know.

It helps that I vibe a lot with Solasā€™s proclaimed values: ā€œCause and effect, wisdom as its own reward, and the inherent right of all free-willed people to exist.ā€

Heck, like I said before, Lintian was partially inspired by Solas, and that includes the ā€œobjecting to the status quo on moral grounds but not actually doing much about itā€ part.

honestly yeah iā€™m kind of tired of being asked to make life changing decisions for everyone and every nation

iā€™m just a mage who can close fade portals, stop treating me like iā€™m some kind of expert in the ways of the world. i literally spent my entire life in a circle until very recently so i have no relevant life experience

I was a more murdery Dalish whose response to problems was very cut-and-dry, especially when it came to the shemlen. Someone has to be willing to make those tough decisions, and that someone is me (and Leliana). Learning more about magic and history, though, she loved those.

imagine having a method to your decision making.

iā€™m bumbling my way through absolutely everything and to be fair that seems very in character for my inquisitor who lucked his way into his position and is trying to fake it til he makes it

I made her even worse after she was at Halamshiral and she overheard how all the Orlesian aristocrats talked about elves. No shemlen was safe after that.

ā€œOh, you want an Exalted March, do you? As you wish.ā€

some of my best friends are elves. i swear iā€™m not racist

My inquisitor: Fortnite flosses over Celeneā€™s still-warm corpse.
