LITERAL [impossible difficulty]
Hopefully they change how easy (and dumb, sometimes) it is to break your oath from the beta.
Happy Independence Day, Estonia!
Hate how this date is now going to be tarred as the day Fire Nation invaded.
Iām at the announcement of that Silmarillion LARP that Iāve been invited to, and it sounds like my dream game. Civilian-focused, newbie-friendly, and the organizer is charming. Itās a lower-deck episode based around original characters during the tale of Beren and Luthien.
Butā¦ social anxiety. And I donāt even have a costume! I have no LARP experience, Iāve never been at a LARP game before! I would get stuck writing my characterās backstory! I donāt know if Iād get along with the other players, and I canāt just log off when I get tired.
But I know that itās better to sign up and regret it than not to sign up and regret it.
Whatās a certified Duskwood guild?
- wears master hats as uniform
- all black uniforms
- hangs around in darkshire mostly swearing
- usually a peoples militia that somehow also runs the town competing with other militas running the town
- mostly human female membership with a token few human men and more worgen men
- ignores the usual
Do people even use the Masterās Hat anymore? I thought that went out of fashion years ago.
ā¦now i feel old and more out of touch with the young people than i usually do. god is this how akamito feels
Go as middle earth Lintian!
Iām actually considering it!
The DM said that there will be a political split in Doriath between proponents of isolationism and proponents of openness, which is exactly the kind of situation for which Lintianās character was conceived.
A Doriathren Sindarin lamgollon (linguist) with pro-openness views and forbidden interest in Quenya would be the most straightforward translation of Lintian into First Age Middle-earth. It would let me show off my Elvish studies, and my archery practice ā short as it has been ā might come into play too.
Iād need a different character name, of course. āLintianā isnāt Sindarin. Iāll need a name that means something.
This is a bit outdated, as the militia membership nowadays is Dark Rangers, Dracthyr and death knights who are actually Arthasās best friend and one of the main Generals of the Scourge, now a recruit of the Nightās Watch. No, Iām not being hyperbolic.
Youāre hard pressed to find actual humans among them, let alone one without some gimmick.
I sure am
My dragonborn paladin of Conquest is currently clearing down the Tomb of Annihilation
(unfortunately the gameplay idea I had that made them a dragonborn in the first place doesnāt work properly, F)
Still not sure what exactly Iām going to play first time around u_u but it will probably be edgy
Eldritch Blast looks incredible in BG3, warlock good
Not A Pet and company are currently fighting Team Edgelord. Hexblade warlock (Raziel), necromancer wizard (Gothica), and 10 undead friends.
The hexblade died first.
Itās a shame that I think Wyll is kinda lame compared to the other party members weāve seen so far Iām sure thereās more to him but I canāt help but just roll my eyes at him. Heās just a bit of a nerd.
I know Astarion thirst is a real thing but heās probably the only one that interests me less than Wyll. Maybe once we reach Baldurās Gate heāll have more going on but just from what I played in the early access his stuffās very surface-level shallow. Not a lot toā¦sink my teeth into.
When I played the beta he murdered me and it was hard not to take that personally
(you can square the Wyll circle by making your PC a warlock)
During the handful of times Iāve played DnD I must have cast an accumulated 100 eldritch blasts and only two of them ever landed. I still get a sinking feeling in my stomach every time I hear its name.
but then Iām not the knightiest of knights or the punchiest of monks
hexblade 1/paladin X is one of the strongest choices just saying
My opinion on h*xblades:
I will not suffer them to live. In the name of Iomedae Tyr, I say to you, fiend: FLEE, for you will find no mercy here.
